Friday’s Story; Why do it?

Friday was born on June 6th, 2006 in Zephyrhills, FL. He was a typical boxer, silly, loveable, fun! In 2016, he started to have seizures. On May 8th, mother’s day, he got off the bus. He was not the only pet in house, and one of many dogs over time, however, he was still very special, and of course, the name, Friday, is also very special and unique. Most don’t understand, but my last name is Robinson, like in Robinson Crusoe, (good story) and when I got him home, he became Friday. He was the baby of the family of 5 dogs, and was a trouble maker. Yet, he helped me learn more about myself and dealing with him than any of my other dogs. So this is my way to keep Friday alive! He was a wonderful pet, friend, companion and I want to help others have a better relationship with their pups.

Now, Friday’s Finishing School believes that opening up communication with your pup, will make your life a lot easier! Learning how to talk with you friend opens the doors to more. Remember, English is a second language for them. Taking the “life is happening” approach and learning how to understand your pal is beneficial in both the Group classes, or in Private sessions. The curriculum not only covers common commands but we also cover topics such as nutrition, socialization, leadership and best practices when working with your pup.

The courses are Puppy Training, Basic Manners and Advanced Etiquette. All courses are 6 weeks long and meet each week on Saturday or Sunday. Prices are posted on the website and are for the 6 weeks, which includes graduation with photos.

I also do work with some Behavioral Modification. Dog Aggression/Fear, People Fear, Sled-Dog Syndrome. Prices are on the website and are per session unless otherwise agreed.
