Although there was little out there then, the ranch has grown immensely over the years. Now, owned by Raymond Vargas, Sr., and his beautiful wife Alicia, the ranch is home to a vast number of animals and antique tractors. Happy inhabitants of the Flying V include Charolais and Hereford cattle, Quarter Horses, donkeys and miniature donkeys, miniature horses, African Boer Goats, Barbados Sheep, chic

ken, ducks and countless cottontail rabbits. The couple's first home was moved from its first location to the farm, and now sits next to the pond in the back. It has been remodeled and has a bed, table, and porch, for relaxation and escape. The pond is stocked with catfish, and has a fountain. Small crops are planted throughout the year, producing bountiful yields of squash, corn, pumpkins, hay grazer, and zucchini.

First, we are blown away by the amount of shares and words of encouragement, prayers and offers to help we have received over the last few days since our post about our struggles. It was tough to share what we are facing but we've heard so many stories of overcoming adversity from other business owners who have faced similar battles and prospered so we remain steadfast in our faith that God has a plan for us in all of this.

We want to thank everyone who has placed an order with us over the last few days. We are a little over a quarter of the way towards fulfilling our goal this month. We hope we can keep the momentum going while we work to get the orders out that have already been placed. Just in case you were wondering-there is still time to get your meat boxes out and delivered before Christmas!

In fact, Santa's elf is still up right now cutting all of this beautiful beef that we picked up TODAY to fulfill your orders.

We want to share a little update for those of you waiting on your orders:
-If one of your boxes includes CHICKEN: Our chickens were harvested today, we'll be picking them up on Thursday so you will be receiving a message from us as soon as we have them processed for your box.

-If you purchased the STEAK ASSORTMENT BOX: Our beef supplier did not have everything we needed today so we will be making a second run this week to pick up the rest of our beef to fulfill your order.

-If you are shipping OUTSIDE OF TEXAS: Your order will go out next Monday/Tuesday and be delivered by next Wednesday/Thursday to your location. We ship Mondays/Tuesdays for out of state orders so they do not get held up in a fulfillment center over the weekend.

-If you ordered a box for SHIPPING OR HOME DELIVERY: Those will start going out tomorrow. You will receive an email from us letting you know your order is on the way.

-If you ordered a box for IN-STORE PICKUP: Those boxes will be ready for pickup this weekend. You will receive a message from us as soon as your box is ready.
