We need your Help! The HydroFido Splash Park is looking for volunteers all next week (9/9-9/13) Morning, afternoon, all day....
We need help to spread mulch and rock, trim bushes, stain and paint, light construction, and more...
On Friday the 13th the new director of The Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center , Emilie Levesque, will be on hand from 7 to 11 am and 1 to 4 pm for the public to come and meet. Light refreshments will be served from 1 to 4 pm. Come help create this new and exciting splash park and meet our new director!

Today marks a bittersweet day at the shelter as we bid farewell to our esteemed director, Eric Hayes, who is completing his final shift after 23 years of dedicated service.

During his tenure, Eric has made significant contributions to the shelter, enhancing its operations in various ways. He has ensured the well-being of numerous animals, ranging from horses and pigs to rams, geckos, snakes, dogs, cats, and many more. Eric has successfully facilitated the adoption of countless animals, finding them loving forever homes. As a leader, teacher, role model, boss, and animal lover, Eric has left an indelible mark on the shelter.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to Eric for his unwavering commitment and service over the years. His impact on the shelter will be enduring, and we are immensely thankful for the countless lives he has saved. While we will miss him dearly, we are excited to see him embark on new endeavors that align with his passion for animal welfare.

Thank you, Eric, for your exceptional leadership and dedication. Your legacy at the shelter will always be remembered and cherished.

***PLEASE NOTE***
Due to the transition with our new Director starting and our previous Director leaving, staff leave, staff vacations and a staff wedding the shelter will be closing at 4 pm each business day in September. This is for September only. We will return to closing at 6 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in October.
* Please note that we will still hold a volunteer Orientation on September 17th at 4:30 PM, but the shelter will not be open to the public during the orientation. This Orientation will only happen weather permitting due to the remodel of the clinic from our flood.

Help landscape (animal lovers from Rosenbaum Nursery will be leading that area to help out), spread mulch and rock, trim bushes, help paint… the splash surface, old wood benches, stain the gazebo, set signs, new benches and new trash receptacles…
