Wyoming Bluewood Creations is a locally owned business specializing in hand-crafted, limited edition productions of the iconic Steamboat bucking horse.

Wyoming Bluewood Creations is creating 4 ft and 6 ft productions of Steamboat from beetlekill. The classic blue streaks and intermittent purple , reds and knots come together for a striking piece of art.. Each piece starts with the selection of the wood , then clamping it , tracing the outline, mark the wood for biscuits joints, unclamping,, using the joiner , drilling pilot holes, for interior cu

ts, using either the saber saw or scroll saw for the outline, gluing the 8-10 biscuits for the 4 footer and 12- 15 for the 6 footer, aligning the piece prior to clamping,, them final trim with appropriate file and then sanding and finally stamping the wood brand on the back and using the wood burning tool for the edition number. the editions are limited to 750 and 1200 respectively and are offer at an introductory price of $400 for the 4 ft and & $700 for the 6 ft plus tax and licensing fee.
