Update on the 35 Cat Eviction Rescue. We will be going tonight to assess the situation and transporting 18 of the cats on Sunday to Grand Montecito Animal Hospital for exams, shots and boarding for 30 days. This will cost around $11,000 and will have to pay in advance in order for them to take these babies. We have about $3000 of the down payment but will need help from the community. The money recently raised from the Giving Tuesday campaign takes 45 days or more to receive, so those funds won’t be available until next year. We know this has been a tough year for everyone but any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a huge rescue and we need a village (donations and fosters). These babies cannot end up on the streets. With the Animal Foundation having some serious challenges at this time, we want to give these babies every chance at NOT being euthanized.

Donations can be made directly to Grand Montecito Animal Hospital (Make sure you tell them for Community Cat Angels). You can make a donation by phone (702) 656–1115. Donations can also be dropped off at 6325 Grand Montecito Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89149. If you make a donation, please message Community Cat Angels so we can keep a record. We have a generous donor who will MATCH EVERY DONATION.

The breakdown for the cost at Grand Montecito is listed below:

Exam - $50 x 18 = $900
Shots (2 needed @ $15 each) - $30 x 18 = $540
Boarding ($18/day each for 30 days) - $324 x 30 = $9,720)

Total cost for 30 days = $11,160

Wiggity Wag is now offering a Drop-In service. We can drop in and check on your pet while you are away. This includes feeding, medicating, providing fresh water and even scooping litter boxes, or a short potty break for your dogs. Starting at $10.00 for a cat Drop-In (prices may vary depending on needs) and $15.00 for dog Drop-In + $5.00 per each additional dog. Does your pet suffer from anxiety? Wiggity Wag has made a small class compiled of tricks and tips that are commonly used in a shelter setting that help reduce anxiety and stress in your pet and we have found ways to implement these tricks in a home setting. This class will run 1 hour. 30 minutes of training followed by a 30 minute Q&A. Please contact us for more information and booking on classes (702)- 769-2785.
Note: these classes are based off of experience gained in working in animal welfare. We are not animal behavioralists. But we have worked closely with and have received training from behavioralists.

After over 15 years of my life being dedicated to animal care & rescue I have hit a wall with compassion fatigue and burnout. I decided to start Wiggity Wag to give myself a gentle reminder of the reasons I started rescue. It's all about the animals. I often overwork myself to the point where I skip a meal because the animals need me more or I can't sleep at night because one of the animals I am caring for is sick etc. I would love a chance to have more moments spent having fun with the animals as oppose to the hardcore care I do every single day. Moments like this keep me grounded and remind me of why I work so hard. Please give me the chance to have more moments like this by hiring me for your fur babies needs, so I can keep doing rescue and helping more animals.
