❤️‍🩹 Angelina is home and recovering well!! .. (Apologies for the delay in getting ya updated last night.. My day didn’t end until 1145p and back at it by 430a); ANYWHO-

Angelina💕 did great under anesthesia and was able to get her teefies cleaned, too! She does still have a little skin infection + an ear infection so we’ll be treating those with tons more meds while she’s recovering over the next 2 weeks.

We should have biopsy results in about 5 days for her mammary tumor and praying it’s benign! 🤞🏽

💟 We are sooo, so grateful for Angelina’s amazing Foster Mama, who stayed by her side all night long! THANK YOU, Leann!✨

💝 Angelina is SO loved by so many already and is truly A GIFT in herself!

She’ll be getting her x rays, mammary tumor removed, and sent off for a histopath!.. Depending how well she’s doing under anesethsia, they’ll add on her dental cleaning (not included on estimate)

Please send our girl all the healing juju her tuff body needs! 💕✨

Oh Raven 😭😭

The ongoing medical expenses, daily medications (for most of them), food and supplements doesn’t end. We are struggling financially (just like most rescues) and desperately need donations to start coming in so we can continue to properly take care of our current babes & save more lives!

🆘🛟🚨 Past, current, and will continue to be a future crisis if we don’t keep educating our communities, spreading the word, and actually doing something about it!!

PLEASE do your research when deciding to add a new FAMILY MEMBER into your life. Yes- this is a COMMITMENT that you are making to them when you adopt, purchase, or inherit pets. LEARN about the breed and the type of lifestyles they NEED to live healthy, flourishing, good boy/girl lives! Set them AND you up for success! Have patience, give them time and trust.

Stop supporting “backyard breeders” or puppy mills and go to your local high-kill shelter to adopt! Pay attention to who you’re supporting on your ballots- this affects our animals’ rights, laws, and where funding goes (or lack-thereof); And for the love of the universe- STOP ABANDONING YOUR SENIOR PETS AFTER 8+ YEARS because “you’re not home enough” 🤮🙄 You’re getting them killed faster than they can be saved.

… I won’t get started on all you, “emergency rehome by tomorrow” with unaltered huskies, shepherds, Malinois‘, Danes, and pits because of YOUR lack of responsibility. MOST of you had at least a 30 day notice.

Emergencies/life/death happens, I’m not oblivious to truly unfortunate events/rehoming circumstances happening… but I am REALLY sick to my stomach from the rest.

Rescues are here to help. We want to help them all. The sick ones. The old ones. The failed ones. The young ones. The fearful ones. The aggressive ones. The hospice ones. The neglected ones. The unwanted ones. We physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially CAN’T without your help. We can’t do it all for you and honestly, we shouldn’t have to. We need you to help them, too!

🌈 Our big boy, Rocky, is peacefully back home with his forever foster family. 💙

Yesterday included an impromptu cry sesh after getting the mail and reading everyone’s kind words from … especially from his bestest dogtor, Dr. Knickerbocker! (THANK YOU💝); Rocky was beyond special. They all are, of course. But if you got to meet him then you know exactly what I mean. He is missed greatly by so many of us, especially his foster mama , who went above and beyond for him, always- without question or hesitation. You’re both blessings to me and us- forever.

There’s always a hole when you have to let them go to the other side.. Thankfully, they know how to fill those holes with sweet memories of all their quirks, strengths, unwavering gratitude, and unconditional love.

✨We’ll see you at home, one day again, bubs!✨

🗞️ .. A little pupdate on our Beauty Queen, Angelina💝

Aside from her current skin/vulva infection treatments/medications (we’re doing a few more things on top of what’s listed from her invoice), she’s had zero complaints!

💕 Miss Angelina hasn’t stopped smiling or living her best life since being in her foster home! She’s loaded with love and gives it back x10! This beautiful gal is literal PERFECTION. She gets along great with others, is potty trained, enjoys car rides, is part of the senior mobility program with , and is currently accepting applications while we get her 100% ready for adoption! (After she recovers from her mammary tumor removal surgery scheduled 8/28)

The future family for this special lady is going to be unbelievably lucky to have a love like hers. 🐾✨
