It all began when I was a child. I was born a lover of all animals. I realized I favored reptiles and was simply fascinated by these creatures. Thanks to the great Steve Irwin, he taught me a ton about Reptiles and all animals he can surely speak for. I looked up to the individual, he was my mentor.
I recall at age 4-5 my cousin’s parents who owned a snake. I cannot for the life of me recollect the exact serpent.. but the very species of it did not register as I was barely growing within my mind. All I knew at the time was, I wanted a snake. I wanted a lizard, a turtle, a crocodile, etc. Growing up with the neighborhood boys, I “herped” a ton. Even going out exploring all on my own, joyously in search of any reptile in the High Desert of San Bernardino County. I found many lizards and even caught a few. Of course, I quickly learned at the time that I had no idea what these guys ate. I knew if I kept them they would surely perish. So I released those lizards and knew that I would one day have all the information about them in order to one day have my own. By the time I reached my early 20’s, was when I finally made my dreams come true. Owning various snakes, that which you know as the Ball Python.
In 2018, I purchased my first female baby snake at the local Petco. That year I turned 19. I had very little idea to their existence of a Reptile Community. After purchasing my girl, I went online to do massive research of other snakes. I quickly stumbled upon this high white Pied Ball Python. My eyes widened in awe. ‘How on earth can a snake like this exist?’ I researched more and soon found the website of Markus Jayne Ball Pythons. What they displayed blew my mind into oblivion.. I knew I had to have all these gorgeous mutations. I felt inspired. An immense love and greater appreciation to life for birthing such amazing creatures. I wanted to do the exact same.. Breed quality Ball Pythons. As well as other reptiles.
