There are not as many options of collars for cats as there are for dogs, but they are equally as important. Cat collars should have a breakaway buckle or an elastic section on them so if a cat gets stuck, it can get out of its collar relatively easily. Putting collars on cats can help them get home sooner if they do happen to get lost by alerting people that this cat is not homeless, it is missing!

Litter box issues have afflicted many cat households over the years. Your cat is using the box perfectly, but then, out of the blue, he decides he doesn’t approve anymore. For our kitty friends, we have 2 types of pheromone diffusers running in their room. One diffuser is Feliway, which is the pheromone that mimics a cat’s facial pheromone. The other diffuser is Multi Cat, which mimics momma cat’s pheromones. Both types come in diffusers and Feliway comes in a spray so they can be used at home or on the go!

Mosquitoes have had a busy year. We have had 3 heartworm positive dogs this past week! This video shows microfilaria (baby heartworm), indicating the presence of mature adult heartworms in the body. If a mosquito bites a dog or cat with microfilaria, it will transmit them to the next animal it bites. Prevention is key!
