STEVE the Basenji mix is looking for his forever home. His current foster had him for close to a year now. Steve had likely been mistreated as a pup, so he is particularly afraid of tall men. He has warmed up to the Foster’s son, but that took some time. He's potty-trained and crate-trained. He's super sweet and just wants to cuddle. He's 99% silent but occasionally throws out that wild Basenji yodel in his sleep. He's very sweet and gets along well with Koko his Doodle friend and Hagatha (the neighborhood cat who hangs out in my backyard.) He's also great with kids! He will be neutered and UTD on shots prior to adoption. Transport always available! From Texas With Love

Railways for Strays is a combined effort between Nor-Cal Train Closet and From Texas with Love. This effort is to give families the opportunity to donate model railway equipment to help neglected and abandoned dogs. All donations literally go to the dogs!

Hello all! This little girl needs life saving surgery and we are hoping, praying and begging for help!

She unfortunately was diagnosed with a liver shunt and cannot live unless we have it surgically repaired.

Ella is a beautiful little mix breed pup that we saved from Texas. She found her forever home but her mom noticed something wasn’t right. She started having bizarre neurological episodes and we really didn’t think she would make it. Fast forward a month and thousands of dollars later and we finally have an answer.

The good news: she has the chance at a normal life if she gets the surgery.

The Bad: it’s very VERY expensive. We are already thousands in with vet visits and special food for her condition.

We do not have an estimate for surgery yet but we do know we need a $2500 deposit to move forward. If you have anything to spare, please consider donating. Ella is so very loved and we desperately need want her back home with her mom and dad.

Unchained Souls Canine Rescue graciously took her under their care to help get her the vetting she needs. She is currently with them but we have set up a fund for Ella through our rescue so we are asking donations come to us into that fund.

Thursday we were able to send TEN dogs out of TX to our PA farm. Super blessed to have the opportunity to send them off to homes where they will be loved and valued a members of the family. Shout out to our transportation team Paws Up Rescue Transport, LLC for doing an amazing job caring for our precious cargo. Also thanks to our fosters which whom this impact wouldn’t be possible! We always need more fosters in Lubbock/Levelland - shoot us a message and ask us how. 🐾❤️🐾

When a breeder picks a dog of theirs that was dumped there are thousands of comments with people reaching out to help.

When rescues do the same thing and even beg for help…crickets.

I’ve seen twice now in a month where a dog purchased from a breeder or pet store was dumped here in PA and people are outraged and blowing up the posts to help.

I’m truly glad the breeder is a reputable one who saved the dog. But I’m soooo frustrated that people here in NEPA find these two incidents so outrageous to the point of stalking people to shame them, yet seem to care less about all these other beautiful dogs who had it much worse and just want love.

All of these dogs have value. Thank you to those who do help us. I don’t want to think you go unnoticed. You make more of difference than you’ll ever know.

Will anyone in PA consider fostering this sweet girl? We are afraid the farm will be a little chaotic for her as we are getting in four puppies and four larger adult dogs. She will be here this weekend and would love to find a place to land while she waits for adoption.

She is fully vetted.

We cover all expenses including food and supplies.

This is Peanut Butter. He is approximately a year old, and we met him in our neighborhood, as he was always super friendly! It was only a matter of time before he ended up at the local shelter as an owner surrender - which is a fast track to a bad ending. We knew we had to save him. He really doesn’t have much manners, but we’re working on not jumping. He’s very sweet, very friendly and very loving. I’ve never seen a dog rebound after a neuter as fast as this boy did. He came out of the vet, wagging his tail and happy as ever. He’s headed to Pennsylvania soon so if anyone is interested in Texas, let me know! 🐾

Third Update: Bella should be coming home tomorrow. She is recovering well, but considering her family is still without power and cleaning up debris from the storm, she is recovering safely at the vet. Her bill will be on the high end of our estimate, so any additional donations would be greatly appreciated!

Second update: sweet girl had a long wood piece removed from her sinus area and spent the night at the vet. Waiting for more updates this morning. Pray it’s all good!

As I’m sure many of you are aware, Levelland was hit by a bad storm. We received a plea for help for this older shepherd who has debris embedded in her face. She is on her way to Live Oak and we will update with an estimate but we are desperately seeking donations at this time to help cover the cost of her care.

Meet RJ! Coming to PA soon! He’s just over 100 # of perfection. Ridgeback Rottweiler mix, and just a doll. We had a great day date today walking in the park, passed the kid test, dog test, and duck test! Had a bath, cruised Tractor Supply, took a drive, and had a pup cup for the first time! He’s kennel trained, and just waiting for the perfect home. Please message if interested in a meet and greet. 🐾

ADOPTED!!

Meet Churro (aka Buddy, aka Claude). We are still trying out what name sticks. He’s delightful. Just a sweet, gentle boy, who found himself in the shelter as a stray and no owner ever came to claim him. He’s a long hair Doxie Spaniel at best guess, between 2-3 years old. He’s about 25 # and full grown. All clear at the vet, neuter will be scheduled next week! He’s still gaining confidence every day with his fosters, but passed the other dog test AND the little kid test perfectly! Let us know if you are interested and we can set up a meet and greet!

Meet LADY. She is available for adoption - currently in TX, but could be in PA by the end of the month. She is less than a year, but likely fully grown. We thought she was a Chihuahua pup, but she has grown and grown - so we are calling her a Lab/Chi mix! She and her siblings were found in a ditch in a crate in rural TX. She is very outgoing, high energy and playful. A yard is a must! She gets along with other dogs, large & small, although it takes a bit to warm up. She is UTD on shots and spayed. She is a goof and loves her laying fetch with her humans. She also loves to wrestle and play fight her furry foster siblings. If Lady seems like a dog for you, reach out! And please share!

SOX - We think he is approx 8 months old, and is a Chi mix. He is due for his neuter and will stay in foster care until that time. He is making great strides learning how to walk on a leash, and is doing well potting outside with his fur sister. We are still learning more about his personality, but he is sweet and curious.
