Hello everyone, this is Jill (former owner of Poochies Plus). I just want to let you all know that Kali and I are keeping a few dogs at a time out of our homes. I’ve been dreading making this post but I need to let everyone know that we have decided to close Poochies Plus. After leasing our building for over 13 years our landlord died and we’ve been kicked out. After a hard discussion Kali and I have decided it’s time to move on. Kali will be keeping a small amount of dogs out of her home so we will be keeping our phone on for a few more months. Our last day open will be July 31. We treasure all the dogs and their parents and we will miss you all so much. Thank you for trusting us with your dogs for 13 years! Peace, love and puppies!

It’s a sad day for us today. Chip was one of our first daycare dogs when we opened. He is now at the Rainbow Bridge with our other precious fur babies we’ve lost over the years. Chip was 16 1/2 and lived the BEST life thanks to his owners Jim and Patti. We will miss you so much Chip. Poochies Plus will never be the same without you 💜🐾
Happy Thursday! We are still open but unfortunately because of the virus we just aren’t keeping many dogs. If any of our customers would like to buy a gift certificate to use in the future to get us through this hard time we would greatly appreciate it. Hello everyone. According to the new executive order we will be allowed to stay open. If you feel more comfortable we can come to your car to pick up your dog. We have very little foot traffic in our lobby and just the 2 owners are here full time. However we are taking a huge financial hit with our boarding. If any regular customers would like to buy a gift certificate to use when this is all over we would greatly appreciate it. We can take Venmo or personal checks. Attention daycare parents....effective Monday we will require payment every week for your dogs daycare days. We are already being impacted very negatively by the Coronavirus. We are experiencing a lot of cancellations due to people not traveling and working. We will need every cent we make during these rough times. Thank you for understanding and we hope to return back to normal as soon as we can. Please keep us and other small businesses in your prayers as we try to survive this.

Sad day for us. One of our very first daycare dogs passed away today. He’s been part of our lives for over 10 years. He had the best life and was loved by so many. Go run free Leon because we know how much you loved to run! See you again at the Rainbow Bridge silly boy! Please keep Leon’s owners, Jon and Laura in your prayers.

Today is a sad day, one of our first dog customers has gone to the rainbow bridge. She was just staying with us last week. We sure will miss you Gumbo. She was such a sweet, good girl. We will see you again 🌈

Gumbo (bigger one) was one of our first dogs to stay with us almost 11 years ago! Brother Ozzy has been coming since he was rescued by Gumbos parents! They are both so sweet! They stayed this week with us! 🐾❤️🐾
