Boo had her babies!! When we preg tested her with the rest of the herd in January, she was marked as open. She must have been bred weeks after we drew her blood for testing. We noticed her bag was filling up a couple of days ago. Janell got home from work and found her and 2 baby boys in the shade.

Boo was bred to Snowman. This is her 3rd pregnancy with us. We are unsure how old she is but we are assuming 7 years or older.

Stew had her baby! We've had her in the maternity suite for what seems to be like forever. During the day, we let the maternity suite into the barnyard and back yard to graze. At 6:50pm, Clay walked out the back door and there was Stew and her baby next to our big ash tree. He was still wet and not standing yet. Janell watched to make sure he nursed and he did. This ends our kidding season for this year!

Drip had her baby! We've had Drip in the maternity suite since May 13 (Almost 2 weeks ago) 4 days ago her bag was getting bigger. This morning, her bag was very very big, her belly had "dropped" and her back end was looser. At 11:30am Janell had gotten called out for a SCUBA Dive vehicle recovery and when she got back, at 5:30pm she saw Drip with this little girl. The baby was standing, but not completely dried off yet and hadn't nursed yet. Janell made sure the baby nursed. All is good!

Sandra Lee had her babies!! 10 days ago (May 12th) we noticed her bag was starting to get bigger. We moved her into the maternity suite. Janell did chores around 5:30pm this evening and nobody was showing any signs of labor. At 8:11pm Clay and Janell both came out to check on everything. In the distance they saw a white baby. Clay asked, "wait, which baby is that?" Turned out it was brand new! Then Sandra Lee moved and they saw 2 babies! They were standing up, dried and nursing great.

Mountain had her baby! No signs at 8am Approximately 2pm Clay found this baby already dried, up, and nursing!

Helen had her baby! Last night, we noticed Helen's bag was big & tighter, and she was looser in her back end. We moved her to the maternity suite. Clay checked her at 12:09pm and saw feet showing. Baby was on the ground 12:38pm.

Brown headed boy: Keller

Helen was bred to Snowman. We were surprised to see any kind of color on this baby, as both of his parents are white. This is Helen's second pregnancy.

Cuatro had her baby! We moved her into the maternity suite exactly a week ago, thinking she was going to go into labor any minute. We have been checking her constantly but no signs of labor. This morning at 11:45am, Janell found that Cuatro had her head stuck in the hay feeder. This is very odd for her, because in the 5 years we have owned her, she has never gotten her head stuck, anywhere. (One very early sign of labor is not acting like themselves.) We assumed she would go today.

We both came home from work and checked on her at 5:30pm. We saw her laying there, chewing her cud like she had been all week. Then she stood up and we saw this precious baby girl! She was all dried off, walking, nursing, and her umbilical cord was already dried and shriveled up. We are assuming she went into labor shortly after we checked her at noon.

Cuatro was bred to Herbert. She is from our original herd. This is her 4th pregnancy with us, and she had Rebel with her as a baby when we bought her.

Bamalam had her babies! We had just came home from church. Janell went out to check everybody at 10:59am to find these two on the ground. One was trying to stand and the other had just broke the sack. They were already in the maternity suite, because we knew she was close.

Bacardi had her babies! A couple of days ago, we noticed her bag getting bigger, so we moved her into the maternity suite. This morning, her bag got even bigger, so we knew she would go today. At 1:30pm, Bacardi was in the very early stages of labor: standing/laying constantly, walking the perimeter of the fence, & rubbing on the fence. Janell came out and checked on her every half hour. Bacardi started pushing at 3:45pm. 3:54pm baby boy was born. At 3:55pm baby girl was born.

Marble had her babies! At 9am we noticed her bag was bigger and tight. We moved her to the maternity suite. We were getting ready to go to graduation parties, but needed to check prior to leaving. At 10:55am Clay found Marble had one fresh one on the ground. 15 minutes later, her second one was born. We moved them to the maternity shed out of the wind. They nursed fairly quickly after.

Marble is bred to Snowman. This is her 2nd pregnancy and she is a 4 year old. Marble is the daughter of Socks and Lester.

Socks had her babies! Janell checked everything over her lunch break to find Socks in labor. 2 babies were born within 30 minutes. We thought for sure 3 other goats would kid before Socks, but they still haven't gone yet. Thankfully Socks was in our arena and close to the maternity pen.

Socks was bred to Herbert. Socks is from our original herd. This is the 4th pregnancy with us and she had 2 babies with her when we got her. She's given us 10 babies in 5 years! We think Socks is approximately 7 years old.
