Breeding Jack Russell Terriers all began about seven years ago when a customer/friend of my father allowed me to stay at her house after a college rodeo. Well I played with that little puppy all night despite I was completely exhausted. The next morning when I woke up I found a note that said if you want him he is yours. Well a few years passed and Tripp began to get lonely, or so that was my excu

se to passify my desire to find Tripp a "friend." I ran across Jacks Alley in Cairo, GA and I fell in love with them, their dogs, and of course my first three puppies, yes three, GiGi, Kippie, and Raspie! As I grew closer to the Jacks Alley gang we discussed breeding my girls and how I would begin my adventure. With many hours on the phone and MANY puppies later Kim and Daryl helped me get a nice set of dogs ready for the following years breeding season. I had so many puppy kisses and stories to tell that my parents began to fall in love as well! Soon after their love grew for my gang dad purchased Mattie, and Sisero and mom purchased Tia and Talley. I didn't think it was fair for them to get "new puppies" so I got Roofuss and Zali. After we all had our puppies we realized one thing we was missing... A smooth coat male! With many hours of research I ran across Apple Jacks Terriers just two miles from my house, yes just two! At the time she had a little bulldog looking puppy that I knew I had to have! I called the parents and we all went to her house and quickly fell in love with Hemi and our shortie family was ready for operation! With a complete family of puddins we began breeding and of course getting more or keeping more jacks for ourselves! Quality not Quanity

At Ritzy Russells' we pride ourselves in Well Bred, Good Looking and Personality Filled Shorty Jack Russell Terriers. We have personally hand selected all of our dogs to ensure our customers are receiving the BEST Jack Russell Terrier. We have plenty of time to spend with each and every puppy to ensure they are very sweet and use to the human touch. We are proud of the few females and males we have and are content with being a small time breeder but we strive to be the best. We only offer puppies for sale that we would keep ourselves. Our puppies are born in our homes and stay there for the first 3- 4 weeks so we can closley monitor their growth. At the end of the 4th week they are moved outside in their own nursery with mom. Once they are acclimated to their new location the weaning process will begin. Once weaned our puppies are moved to the "big kids yard" where they can play and interact until they are ready to meet their new families!
