K-Stone Acreage and Rescue is a haven for farm animalsin need. Currently, we have horses, mini-horses, donkeys, mules, alpacas, rabbits, mini pot belly pig, goats and sheep. Most arrive at K-Stone due to neglect or abuse, and our focus is on saving them from eithanasia and enabling them to enjoy a comfortable life for whatever time they naturally have left.
Our animal friends who are eager for human interaction participate in field days, parades, town and county fairs, carnivals, and other public celebrations throughout the north country, bringing joy and excitement to children during petting zoos and birthday parties. These animals still have a tremendous amount of affection, trust, and camaraderie to share with their human friends and are encouraged to interact with the public, especially children. We also respect those who are less inclined toward socialization by protecting their space and meeting them where they are in their healing process.
Our animals residents are given permanent lifelong sancutuary and are treated with respect and dignity as individuals with whom we share the earth. We offer a wide range of volunteer options, giving volunteers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the abused and neglected farm animals. We are a 501c3 nonprofit animal welfare orgainzation, and all donations are tax deductible and help support the residents.
Come visit our peaceful haven on Keystone Road in Lisbon, New York! Becuase every animal deserves a second chance.
