I am a Veterinarian that graduated from the UMN. I currently am breeding some animals on a very small scale with the intent to grow bigger in the future.

I specialize with reptiles now but in the near future will be expanding to many other species!

I’m super eggcited about these babies this is what I thought was a snow x blackeye! Apparently after many babies the female blackeye is het Amel. So now I have a amel het black eye and angry and a normal triple het! Awesome step in the right direction!!

Steven one of our male crested geckos! He’s absolutely stunning but I definitely struggle to find a pairing I want for him! Time will reveal all!

This is the first Carmel Pictus gecko that has hatched this year! As you can tell it is much different right out of the egg compared to a high white banded gecko and a normal stripped gecko. There is a subtle color difference. I’m hoping to have similar results this year with this pairing. Both parents are Carmel pictus geckos. More research and documentation is being done on this line. Hopefully we can clearly call it a definitive morph soon. This issue has been for a long time people call actual amel pictus geckos carmels when that is just not simply the case hopefully we can nail out this “Carmel” gene as something completely different which I think it is. I’ll post a parent picture to the Carmel below in the comments!

Babies are starting to hatch! These aren’t our first hatchlings as we have been hatching pictus, viper, leopards geckos and crested geckos already this year!
