A veterinarian is missing in Texas. If you have any information about her whereabouts or happen to see her/her truck with Florida plates IC62JF please call the police. She has been reported as a missing person. She was last seen in a white top and pink yoga pants.

🐱 Important! Our shelter is FULL! 🐶

Due to an influx of owner and stray surrenders, Denton Animal Services cannot accept owner surrenders at this time.

We are working closely with other agencies and rescue groups; however, many rescues in the area are full due to similar situations.

Ways to help:
➡️ Adopt an animal into your forever home! All animal adoptions are $30 right now (though Feb. 22) and include all shots, spay/neuter, and a microchip.
➡️ Foster an animal! This helps open up space in the shelter and provides a safe and loving environment for the animal. Email us for more information: [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected].
➡️ If you find a stray dog, consider our "stray foster" program. We cover all the necessities! Call us at 940-349-7594 for more information.

We are working very hard to get the animals into loving homes, reputable rescues, and out of the shelter. We can't do this without you! Thank you for your support and patience!

For those who have dogs in our boarding we will have a boarding staff member in clinic taking care of everyone. Extra night is on us. We will call everyone as soon as it is safe to to do.

Just a reminder Dental Health Month is in Feb.
So many infections and diseases start in the mouth. Imagine if you never went to the dentist until you were 40? Dogs and cats age faster than us. We recommend at least coming in for a dental consult and we can let you know what we think your pet needs.
