Feed bag success. I still needed to hook my thumb onto his halter but he took it getting clipped first try!
And can you believe he's only 2? He's ginormous!!!!!

Echo was introduced to the feed bag tonight. First attempt to clip, I think I tried to do to quickly and startled him. 2nd attempt he was all about how cool this was. I think we have another success!!!

Echo is wesring a draft sized THT halter today. The nose band is on smallest setting, and the crown has 1 side on the second to smallest.
I managed to get a good butt shot to show just how much taller he is than Rosie already.

I think Echo approved of the new halter choice, too. This is a Balius Equestrian L, the one that was a hair snug on Belle. I absolutely love this purple!

First trim of the year. Was too cold and windy for the humans, so there isn't much to show except how huge he's getting almost 20 months old and bigger than most "normal" horses.
He's still available for a new pasture, with or without the "boys".

Rico and Pearl now both in HOF. What an honor

For 2024, as such a momentous milestone is being reached for the breed and ASHDA itself, we made the goal of ten Hall of Fame inductions. A lot of things were taken into account, including influence on the breed as a whole, and on ASHDA itself. We would like to thank our breed founder, Everett Smith, for his help for our list of inductees, we are always so grateful for the continuing support our founder has for his breed and our registry, and we would also like to thank our staff and Board of Directors for their unanimous support of that list!

Many trips back and forth from the barn to front pasture. First halter, I couldn't even get the crown to my side of him. Several attempts and decided he gets to use Dom's halter today, just on smallest holes.
It's hard to believe he's a year and half already, then I do selfies with his butt towering me, and I can't believe he's only a year and half!

I had hoped to make a pretty picture with red bows this past weekend for this post but the weather decided no.

He's 18 months now and MUCH bigger than this picture.

Let's make a deal, he will be scheduled for his gelding in January so if you're looking for a correct double registered (ASHDA and SSB) stallion, time is running out.
There is no contingency to keep him a stallion - we are just looking for the perfect pasture for him.
