Update another set of abandoned puppies has been brought to the shelter. It was a litter of 13! Again get your damn animals fixed, stop abandoning them to the care of other people if you own an animal it is your responsibility to take care of it. We now have 35 puppies unfortunately none of them are fixed and not available at the present time for adoption.

Some #%$& dumped these puppies at a local business on Range road Friday. AGAIN, GET YOUR ANIMALS FIXED. We now have FOUR litters of abandoned puppies or 28 puppies for a total of 108 abandoned dogs in the shelter!

We have no more kennels and these are boarding in our Laboratory.

Anyone interested in fostering puppies or adults please call the Shelter. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

O.k. I am taking a long shot. My daughter needs to move out of hammond. She lives in a beautiful house but it is right by the i55 interstate and has constant vagrants passing by now a dead body was found right across the hwy. From her. She needs to find something to rent in the area of holden to Satsuma. Here's the problem She has 2 trained German shepherds and no one will rent to her because of her dogs.they ate 8 and 5 and very well trained. I need to help her get out of there. Those dogs are what has kept her safe so far. She needs 3 bedroom and a yard. PLEASE HELP ME GET HER AWAY FROM THERE.THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
