I looked out my window today and saw our boys standing there. They have all been there and done that. Two of them are highly decorated parade horses with two world championships and other big wins on their resumes. They have had hundreds and hundreds of our Lakota youth on their backs. They have carried us through parades in a few cities and in our homelands. They have even carried flags and cleaned many rodeo arenas. And everywhere you look on our million acre reservation, they have left their hoof prints. They have earned their spots in my family and on our lands. There will never ever be a trio of horses like these in our lives. What appears to be 3 horses standing by my pickup is actually a visual representation of a life of honor, beauty, pride, love and amazing memories. There is a reason that the word Wakan.. sacred.. holy.. is in their name for my Lakota people. I am blessed to have walked with such beautiful spirits in this lifetime. Sunka Wakan Oyate wopila tanka iciciyapelo. ❤️

This little filly showed up early. 💕Meet Big Sky Golden Venus💕 There was some excitement due to her Grandma Dasher thinking she was HER baby but Roger got mama Honey and baby separated and ensconced in the arena. It was a gorgeous day to make an entrance into the world🥰

Excited to see what this years foal crop will be from this Iron Gyro Grandson. Iron Native sired a solid grulla filly for Diamond Dot in Wolf Creek and two c**ts - Aztec, a dunskin with characteristics and Bullet, a solid dunalino. Very lovely filly and gorgeous golden boys. Surprise - early arrival 4/24/24
Trying to figure if Big Sky Golden Venus is a palomino or a Golden dun. She is a leggy darling and has made sure she is the darling of the Ranch for the next month before the nextfoal makes an appearance 😆🥰😆
