This is what a wood shipment looked like 10 years ago :) It doesn't look like this today... "Don't forget your pets Campaign" ... Just what is this all about & WHY you ask??? Year after year history repeats itself ... Summer arrives ... we all get busy with school's out... cleaning up the yard .... vacationing... and we fail to "smell" or remember our pets. Yes! that's right we forget to clean our cages... some even forget that the little fellows depend on us for fresh water and food to be brought. After all we are their servants and we must tend to their needs. We see this cycle year after year and I too have failed you... I failed to remind our followers that this is a common problem. The dog/cat always reminds us that they are around... our reptiles or small furry pets can't. Don't forget to ask your children often... have they watered? have they spot cleaned and picked up the waste? do they have food? do they have spare basking bulbs?

I'm having a day where everything I do or touch is a disaster! When you start your day with your robe tie in the toilet... then you go pick up dog crap and it catches one of those weedy vines... and sprays all over you... you're in the shower getting jolted with cold water... those are only the highlights! I've only just got started! Please be patient with me today ... who knows what I'll make a mess of for ya! 🤣

🔥☀️Just a heads up... it's very hot outside... I just received a call regarding a reptile that has over heated because the person read that it's ok to take them out in the heat. I would prefer you keep them in on such hot days. Remember... reptiles have their limits. These are extremely hot days where in the wild they would not spend their time on the surface. If your reptile is outside... it should be shaded with ample amounts of water and checked on frequently. Do not by any means have them out in a terrarium or container... this amplifies the heat. Do not have them in full sun or in a car. 🔥☀️ And you should NOT be walking a dog ... just sayin'

Funny story: Sometimes I get the weirdest phone calls. Weeks ago I get this call ... woman frantic on the phone ...I'll try to just highlight as being frantic she was rambling so much I couldn't speak. The just of it was her snake got out during the night. I have no idea who this was or if she has even been to our shop ... but she was like "you are going to help me find it" more frantic ramblings... I could finally get a word in ... I said "well, in a sense that you want me to give you ideas on where to look for it?" She says NO you are going to come here and find it! Very demanding & stern tone... I'm like "um NO, I don't do that" Well this continued back and forth for some time ... I finally lost my patience and told her my suggestion was ... YOU are going to have to tear the house apart and look for it... have a nice day! WOW! 🤣🤣🤣 I've taken calls to make suggestions as to where it could be ... I've taken calls that suggest their snake has a homing instinct and will find its way back to the shop 🤣... but this is the first I had a demand that I was to come find it 🤣🤣🤣 Have an awesome day everyone! I have a game tournament today that will tie me up 3 hours :) Then kiddie pool party with Millie and the rest of my dogs lol See you tomorrow for all your reptile needs!
