A huge thank you to all who participated in our Blue Cloud Farms Horse Show this weekend. We truly appreciate each of you and look forward to next year. Shout out to Helen, Lee, Liz, Carol, Meg, Jasmine, Tyler, Mitchell, Logan, Terry, Lindsey and everyone that helped ready the venue and with the fabulous, beautiful jumps! See you in September 2024. Unfortunately, our food vendor fell through. We will have Santiago breakfast burritos and muffins for sale in the office. There are several local eateries not terribly far from the show grounds. We apologize for this inconvenience and look forward to a beautiful, fun weekend!

Margie is available and looking for her next partner! Super sweet 11yo 15.3hh OTTB mare. JC Registered Spicy Pro

Margie has great ground manners, stands for the farrier/vet and is quiet to trailer. Her friendly, easy going manner makes her adaptive in various living situations. She does well in a stall or pastures with small herds. She settles in well and makes friends easily.

Margie has been in consistent work for the past 3 years and has been started over fences. She is fun and super willing with groundwork and liberty training. Margie catches on quick and loves to build a relationship with you. She really starts to bond when the trust builds with her partners. She's been on trails near home with a buddy. She is also good riding in open fields too.

MAURICIO GARCIA JUMPING CLINIC
Friday, October 30, 2020 — Sunday, November 1, 2020*

Born in Colombia, Mauricio grew up riding show jumpers and at 19 went to Puerto Rico to continue to pursue his dream. There he became head of the riding School at the Puerto Rico Equestrian Center, represented Puerto Rico at two Central American and Caribbean Games, and qualified for the PanAm Games in 2007 (horse health concerns caused an unfortunate withdrawal). Mauricio has also shown at numerous CSI’s around the world like Nations Cup week in Ocala Florida , La Baule France, CSI 3* Luxembourg, and CSI 3* Hagen. In 2007 Mauricio established himself in the USA where he has obtained good results in numerous Grand Prix competitions.
Growing out of a desire to improve his teaching skills, Mauricio took up the art of designing courses. His goal was accomplished and his work resulted in his becoming a well renowned FEI Level 3 Course Designer. Mauricio has assisted at the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas (2005, 2007, 2016), Pan American Games (2003,2007,2011), the Olympic Games (2016), and has built in numerous important venues such as Hickstead, Spruce Meadows, Kentucky Horse Park, Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, The Oaks, Tryon, Showpark, HIPICO Santa Fe, and our own Colorado Horse Park.
We are delighted Mauricio will be coming to us here in Colorado and anticipate a great clinic!

Enjoy Mauricio’s high level training as you work towards these clinic goals:
Receive personalized time with a high level rider and course designer to improve your riding.
Clearly understand how to recognize questions asked by the designer and answer them successfully.
See how the questions asked, the ring itself, and other factors affect how the course rides.
Learn how course difficulty progresses through the levels so you’re confident for your next step up.
Enjoy time with your horse while gaining a different perspective!

Full clinic cost: $425
Includes one group lesson each day, Friday through Sunday, 1.5 hours each, maximum size of 3 people, with progressive content.
All levels are welcome!
Group heights determined based on entrants.
No trailer-in fees.
Overnight stalls with shavings: $25/day.

*One hour private lessons available during the week, Tuesday, October 27 - Thursday, October 29: $175/ride.

Blue Cloud Horse Show Updated Info

The Blue Cloud Horse Show will be held on Saturday, September 5 ONLY. The Saturday Hunter Ring will start at 8:30 am with the published schedule. The Sunday Hunter Ring classes will be held on Saturday afternoon and are not expected to start before noon. The Saturday Jumper Ring will start at 8:30 am and there will be no jumper classes on Sunday. Call Carol OMeara at 720 339 7274 or email [email protected] with questions.

The Blue Cloud riders haven't entered themselves yet, as to be able to enter classes to help fill divisions.
