Our summer training classes start on the 23rd of June 2024. Give your dog positive social experiences with other dogs and people. We have classes for puppies and adult dogs.
Learn to work your dog and keep their attention in a new place with lots of distractions!
Information discussions on nutrition, exercise, socialization, and how to successfully modify your dog’s behavior. Also - have some fun!

I had done some of the basics with Delta, but was able to learn how to train some more complex skills with the help of Trudy. She was patient with both Delta and me as we learned together. Being able to learn in my own home where Delta was comfortable was really helpful. We did some field trips during our later sessions to help Delta learn how to behave in public. Happy graduation to Zaira!! What a wonderful 6 session program with very satisfying results. 🤩 We worked a lot of in-public/real-life scenarios. Her pawrents were so dedicated and put in the work and it shows. Zaira is so well adjusted in any situation. Focused on her hoomans. Graduation was held to complete her program. Sora and Kumo just graduated thanks to their committed pet parents Eric and Tommy! They were rescued from the meat trade and we accomplished a lot of goals in their training. They are comfortably wearing dog booties so they can walk on hot days, they are tolerating and even enjoying being brushed which is so important for the Samoyed long hair (even their behind!), and they are progressing towards being more settled outdoors seeing people and other dogs (they love both). It was such a joy to see the progress over the past few months and you can just tell what a happy family they all make!

Cody graduated! Cody’s main hiccups were stealing inappropriate items and counter surfing (and jumping on people). The solution was making sure he had the appropriate enrichment and toys (he’s excellent at the find it game!), improved management when we couldn’t keep an eye on him, and teaching other options for jumping on the table (and people) and rewarding the heck out of those great choices! Amanda and Zach did a great job with the training and don’t they make the cutest family??!!

Happy holidays friends! This season, please spoil your pups for us! I know we are!
We took a walk around Downtown Montrose to help Charlie walk past people and see other dogs. He, and his pet parent Kim, worked really hard and had some success but, more importantly, they have a game plan for working towards even more success. Each time we have a training session, we learn more about Charlie and how to advocate for him so he can enjoy going on adventures with Kim!

Trudy helped us develop habits and routines to keep the pups happy and lower stressed and honestly same for the adults in the house. And our walks have improved 10-fold. They used to be torture as we would always fun into a dog and the pack would go wild. While they're not "perfect" they are much better at redirecting their energy to us and their training treats/tricks. Worth every single dollar."

Congratulations to Baxter and Ella on graduating! Baxter started life without getting that oh so important socialization. So when he found his new home with Ella and was getting a little overexcited by all the great stuff the world has to offer. With time, patience, a new set of coping tools, and a super cool outfit, Baxter is learning to be more chill on his fun adventures.

Astro graduated!! Frank, Tami, and Gina worked so hard to get Astro comfortable around other dogs and people. She’s still a bit wary but now they have the tools to support her and continue her progress (or they know they can reach out to us for more support too!). It was so beautiful to see the entire family work together and see Astro gain a ton of confidence and reassurance in the world. (Side note: We just got back from a walk so that is why Astro is so panty in this picture!)

Look who graduated with glorious purpose!!! Loki!! Jackie and Garrett worked really hard to ensure Loki will grow to be a well-socialized, life loving Corgi. Today we worked at the park with a long line to simulate some off leash fun and had a blast. I’m so happy for their success but it’s bittersweet because I had such a great time working with them.
Congrats Loki! Go out there and conquer the world!

Kibble (smaller puppy) and Woof - an amazing pair (and great names!). Kibble is actually Woof’s nephew- can you tell?
In our training session today we problem solved “down” with Kibble (he just kept popping up!) and Woof made sure to show us that he’d learned that a long time ago!
Sweet Jasper graduated!! We had some fun at the park doing long leash recall and pawcor, and agility work!

A fun, enriching walk can look different for each human/dog pair. Brandi and Belle have been working really hard on more enjoyable walks together. Sometimes Belle likes her stroller and sometimes she likes to walk all on her own. We are figuring out the best times for each. Aren’t they adorable?

Tullys graduate Wilbur took his first camping trip recently! Here’s what his people had to say:
“Hey Jaime! Hope you’re doing well. Wanted to share another training win from our family - we had our first camping trip with Wilbur (after a lot of work socializing him to a tent, hammock, tether, etc) and he had the time of his life. He was so at peace being outdoors all day, handled sleeping in the tent and settling at the site like a champ, and experimented with swimming. All the work we did with you was such a great foundation!”
