"The big one is my daughter, whom I rescued from the streets a few years ago. Now, I found this little, scared puppy and brought her home; she instantly took on the role of her "mother" and guards him constantly. Couldn't resist capturing such a lovely moment..." Dogs are family ❤

Going above and beyond is what our volunteer pilots are all about! Often puppies are flown to their new home before owners can get to the airport to pick them up. However, our pilots won't just leave them there, they will often take them home and care for them until they can be picked up.

And for Bart, the American Staffordshire Terrier who arrived early to his new home in Paso Robles, CA - that's exactly what happened. Pilot Olaf took Bart home and kept him safe and comfortable until his new family could pick him. Thank you pilot Olaf!
