✅ 14 ears cleaned
✅ 126 nails trimmed
✅ 28 pads clipped/feet trimmed
✅ everything else I’m not thinking of 😂

So thankful for my clients and their awesome pups!

I’m so excited to be able to offer early drop off and late pickup options again starting in March!
-The cases of the respiratory condition have decreased
- Proper cleaning procedures will still ensure less risk
- I do ask if your dog displays any illness that they strictly stay home
- Private grooming sessions are absolutely still available with notice

I am so happy to still offer a low-key grooming setting. I hope that you and your dog enjoy your experience with me.

Happy New Year to all my wonderful clients, friends and family who have supported True Dog Grooming the past year. I could not have done it without you. I am so thankful for each and every dog who has passed through my care and count each one a blessing. Cheers to 2024 and lots and lots more clean, happy, healthy dogs and cats at True Dog Grooming!

I also want to especially thank my wonderful husband Ryan Knoll Green who built my grooming room for me last spring. None of this would have been possible without you 😘.

Respiratory Illness Update for True Dog Grooming

As many of you know, there is a respiratory illness spreading amongst dogs currently nationwide. Many clients have reached out to me over the last couple weeks with concerns about bringing their dog for grooming.

I want to let everyone know that I respect and appreciate the care and concern you all have for your wonderful pets. For that reason, I'd like to share the extra precautions I have been taking and also to ask you for your help in our endeavor to keep our dogs healthy as well as maintain their current grooming schedules.

- Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedure: all tools, equipment, bathtub, crates, table, and anything which comes into direct contact with dogs are being diligently wiped down and sprayed with sanitizer after each family of dogs is picked up. Hand sanitizer is being used in between each drop off and pick up.

- Zero Contact: Only one dog or one family of dogs is welcome in the grooming room at a time. There will be no early drop offs or late pickups until further notice. Because of this, please be aware that in order to stay on schedule during my work day, I need my clients to drop off at the time which they have scheduled and I also NEED my clients to be available to pickup right as their dog is being finished. I know this is inconvenient and I apologize, but for the health and well being of the dogs being serviced, it is a necessity. I will do my very best to give a heads up if I am running late and also give my best guess of a return time so that everyone can plan accordingly.

- I also ask that if your dog has any type of irregular cough or fever or is acting strangely or low on energy, please reach out to reschedule. Please do not bring your dog to be groomed until he or she is feeling better and normal or has been thoroughly treated for whatever illness might have been present.

What are you really getting when you take your young puppy to the groomer?
- exposure to sounds they would not encounter anywhere else
- a relationship started between your groomer and your puppy that is based on trust and boundaries
- the chance to experience and hopefully accept the process of grooming including handling of feet and ears and face
- a chance at a lifetime of good grooming experiences that will save you time and money regardless of what groomer you go to (groomers will make you pay more for bad behavior)
- etc, etc, etc

So really, bringing your young puppy in to be groomed is one the best pieces of early socialization you can give him/her.

This baby along with her other brother both fell asleep on my table by the end of the session. If that isn’t setting up a puppy for grooming success, I don’t know what is.
