Bacon for dogs? Fresh from the pan?
It's a big 'no'!

Did you know that :
🥓 bacon is high in sodium, making it a risk to heart health, neurological health,
and it can increase inflammation ,

🥓 bacon contains nitrites and nitrates (unless it specifies otherwise), which are known to cause cancer ,

🥓 the high fat content in bacon can cause pancreatitis in dogs.

I know it looks and smells wonderful frying up in the pan, but please don't give bacon to your dogs. If you buy a bacon flavored treat, make sure it says that it is free of nitrites and nitrates and that the fat content is low.
