My best attempt at a Mohawk…creative grooming is fun…if I had more clients wanting crazy cuts I’d get more practice lol I’ve only ever done one other Mohawk and it was on a terrier and full body which was a little easier.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Christmas gift to myself came early!!!!!!!!! Not exactly the one I wanted but hey I had the money for this one so that's what I got....now the first of the year if possible I will order one thing and I will be set and hopefully can start saving for my down payment on a bus/van/trailer!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone! I am happy to announce that as of January 2 I will be able to start taking appointments for LARGE dogs!!!! I do have a weight limit of 60lbs because if I can't lift them I can't groom them and I believe 60 is my limit right now. I do still have a some availability before Christmas eve if anyone is still needing to have their babies cleaned up. Just let me know. Again Merry Christmas and a happy NEW YEAR!

MY HOME & BUSINESS HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY FLEAS!!!!!!!!
So I now have to implement a new policy! ALL DOGS WHO WANT OR NEED APPOINTMENTS MUST BE ON A FLEA/TICK PREVENTATIVE OR YOU WILL NOT GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME!!!! If for any reason you tell me that your dog is on a preventative and I find fleas there will be an added charge of $60! The breakdown of that is $20 flea/tick bath and $40 for fumigation. I DONT WANT THESE NASTY BUGS AROUND ME MY FAMILY MY DOGS OR YOURS So please please please USE SOMETHING!!!! I am here if you have questions about them as well!

Hello! I've been thinking of starting a new feature here. I started out as a Vet tech almost 20 years ago and try to keep up with some stuff for my own personal pet. So this may be a weekly or monthly post with fun facts or an FYI for your pets if needed. Im sure we all have a few things about our pets we wish we could break them of, or figure out how to change the behavior; and here is my reason for my wanting to implement this now...

So earlier this evening I let my monster (my German shepherd) out to handle his business. Well he was taking a longer time than usual so I went out to check on him to make sure he was ok. To my surprise when I found him he had a mouthful of his P**P 💩!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!! My own stomach turned and I felt my dinner wanting to make an appearance lol. So trying to keep this post short.......I came in and just finished with some research instead of making a vet appointment and being charged an arm and leg for a consultation and maybe some type of medication or going to Petco or Petsmart and paying again an arm and leg for a multivitamin or what not. This is what I was able to take away from my research...
PUMPKIN PUREE or PINEAPPLE!!!!!!! So my dears a cheap way to keep your dog from eating his own f***s is 1/4 cup Pumpkin Puree once a day (now make sure it has a low sugar content) or a few slices of fresh Pineapple or a couple chunks of canned. You can also use meat tenderizers, sprinkle a small amount on their dog food or mix with water to make a paste and mix with food. I also saw that you can give them green veggies (cooked not raw). So you can add COOKED chopped broccoli, Brussels sprouts, or spinach to the food. These are all loaded with vitamins, minerals, and the fiber they need for their digestion. They also add a protein enzyme that breaks down whatever is in the p**p that attracts them to it.

I hope this was helpful and I hope you enjoyed my little story and tmi with my dog lol. Now if you have an issue or something you're not sure about feel free to message me either here on messenger or you can text me @ 559.373.4118 you never know maybe someone else is in the same boat but isn't sure how to go about figuring it out. As a groomer I am inclined to to keep a look out for everything going on externally ie. skin coat eyes ears paws etc. and let you know if its something to worry about or if you just need to keep an eye out, but my vet tech in me also worries about everything else that could be going on. My place is to be your extra eyes because I know when you're with your fur babies EVERY day somethings get missed and it's my job to catch it for you. To me we are a TEAM you let me know what you are hearing and seeing at home and I will look into it more for you so that your pets are properly cared for by all.

I feel I may have gone a little overboard with this post but hey I don't really get a chance to speak with people in the time I have your fur babies so I may tend to be long winded lol. Hope you enjoyed my post. Looking forward to next time.......

Oh wow taking a look at my schedule and it is filling up fast! This week I still have Tuesday and Wednesday morning open and that’s it. So if you need to get in let me know. If not if not next week I have 4 days open as of this evening but they are filling up fast! The name was always a work in progress. I am still working on my online booking site. that should be up and running by July 1st with that comes price changes and cut back in hours due to the heat that is coming! Hello!!!! To all my doggie mom and dads...just wanted to make you aware that I will be cutting back on hours during the summertime until further notice. My first appointment will be at 8am and my last will be 10am. For haircuts depending on the size of your dog I will only be able to do 1-2 haircuts a day. If just a bath depending on size I can fit in 2-3. The Temps are rising and I don't have adequate cooling so this is for the health of both your babies and myself. Now with this cut in hours I have decided to schedule on SUNDAYS now if needed. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Thanks for all the support I appreciate it and you!

Hello!!!!! I know it's been awhile since I've posted here. Hope everyone is well. These last couple of months have been crazy for me. I have come to realize that in order for me to keep up with the maintenance of tools and other things I need money is getting tight. So as of July 1 my prices will be going up. Trying to keep up with inflation but still keep my prices low enough to pay bills I have to give in to upping my prices. For my loyal clients do not fear! Your prices are not changing unless you add something new. I am also working on a new online booking site that way if you don't have time to call or text me or I'm taking to long to get back to you, you can go to the site and see what's open that works for you. Starting Monday December 5 I will be taking haircut and bath appointments all day last appointment time will be no later then 3 pm will also be working Sundays with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day BATHS ONLY SUNDAYS. Prices for small/medium bath which includes nail trim (if needed) ear cleaning fragrance spritz and holiday bandanna is set at $30 Large dogs if able is $45. All by appointment only.
