📣 Adoption Event at Benton Petco This Saturday

When: Saturday, August 24th, 10AM - 6PM
Where: Benton Petco
What: We've been invited to participate in another pet adoption event! Come on out and meet our adorable furry friends who are looking for their forever homes.

Our volunteers will be on-site all day to introduce or tell you about the available pets and assist with the adoption process. Stop by anytime between 10AM and 6PM to find your new canine or feline companion.

Here are a few things going on this weekend.
Muscadines mostly red juice now, will start picking bronze tomorrow. Frozen and unfrozen.

A few green beans picked yesterday, okra, squash, zucchini, potatoes (Sweet, New and large Russets), and tomatoes.

Between chores, picking, keeping the Zinnia and Sunflower patches alive, planting FALL crops, baking, cooking I decided to paint the front porch!

Gorgeous

Got a few calls inquiring if we grow other types of grapes. We grow multiple varieties of muscadines, thats all.
Other types of grapes can be grown here in Arkansas sure, but we don't use pesticides and fungicides. Growing traditional grape varieties you have no choice but to spray chemicals here in Arkansas .

Muscadines have awesome defensive capabilities which I believe has researchers curious as to why. You would know this if you completed your homework assignment. 😆😆😆

I have never used pesticides or fungicides on our vines.

The birds love them too, what are you going to do, guess they need to eat like the rest of us!!!

Farm update!
Late okra planting is online now.
Next round of French type cantelopes are about a week out.
Late purple hulls, baby Limas and green beans are looking good.
Tomatoes are still going strong

Muscadines are heavy with grapes.

Fall flowers have been planted.

Will let you know what all we will have this weekend sometime tomorrow!
