Never owning a real puppy and waiting until I was 67 to have one probably sounds like a foolish move. However, I’d never had a puppy before and wanted to as long as I could get around. I went all the way to Virginia to get her, but can’t stress how valuable the trip was. Was she a handful? Indeed! I had to train her for everything and still am this July 10, 2018. But she is the lovingest little furball you’ll ever meet. She’s by my side wherever I go, including the bathroom. When I exit she’s lying there, like a doormat!
If you are ever lonely or need a friend, the most reliable and loving one would be a pug. She travels all over the place with me. We’ve been to Pittsburg, N.H. three times; Grand Rapids, MI, once. She gets along with pretty much all pets and a little too frisky yet for the old timers. One of our favorite special things to do is to go out to eat. We go to Wendy’s for chicken tenders and then cross the street to DQ for some ice cream!
