The babies first time on grass!
Today it finally warmed up enough to show them the great outdoors. I’m excited to do some outside potty training now.
Due to personal reasons we’ve had to downsize in our home and rent our upstairs mother-in-law apartment. As a result we lost the “dog room” to turn into a bedroom. To say we’re a little cramped is an understatement.
What does that mean for these guys? They’re under our feet 24/7. They lived in my bedroom for 3 weeks. They’re currently in the living room by the crossroads of the kitchen and all of the bedrooms. My daughter is in the kitchen blasting music. My son is playing video games 10 ft away. And we all walk past them 1000 times a day. Including the cats and other dogs. They are never ever out of sight and out of mind. It might be chaos. But this is socialization x 10. If you want a puppy that’s not phased by chaos, kids or other pets these ones are for you!
Mom stole my sons pizza crust and thought the babies might want to try some.
The puppies got new digs smack dab in the middle of the living room. I love clumsy playing. Be prepared for an onslaught of cute videos.
Human babies aren’t the only ones that love skin to skin contact. I rarely see her without a puppy in her shirt. And that’s where they’re the happiest.
Good morning!
Crate and potty training go hand in hand. These cuties are off to a great start.
Happy Easter!
The puppies went outside for the first time today since the weather has warmed back up. I think they like it.
This is what it’s like trying to close doors around here.
Potty training!
11 puppies 5 and 6 weeks old sleeping in their crate through the whole night. Not a single mess in the crate.
My daughter and I giving the puppies their first bath. I think they handled it well!
That was sarcastic. They hate us now. Atlas feels especially betrayed.
This will be a regular thing and hopefully by the time they go home they will be used to grooming!
