Northwest Skull Taxidermist will be closed this Friday tell Monday. Will reopen next Tuesday. I will be hunting antelope this weekend with my son. First moose of the year completed and ready.

This is a before and after picture of a moose I cleaned up for a guy a few weeks back. It was definitely do for an over haul and I brought it back to life. Was a fun project.

Bull moose I just finished. It had been sitting for years and was cleaned by another taxidermist, was covered in dirt and very weathered. I cleaned the skull and the horns, I replanned the plaque so it was the same thickness all around and gave it a cleaner look. Also put a new hanging bracket. Over all it came out very well and I think the customer will be very happy. I wish I would have taken a before picture.

Couple bear skulls done. Now I move on to cleaning up a moose, and more bears, coyotes and foxes.

This buck is all finished, first attempt at repairing chew marks on antlers,recoloring antlers back to normal and cleaning the skull with plaque. Turned out nice.

Last bull elk of the season thus this far. It’s a dandy bull from the breaks. Always been my dream to kill a bull this big and this was this young hunters first bull elk ever.
