There is no one age-fits-all-all for when to move on to more complex and demanding training exercises.

A big thank you to In Motion Physical Therapy FLX for getting me in today to work on some of the long-term issues I've accumulated from my 10 years as a canine bodyworker.
Brooke is AWESOME and I cannot recommend her highly enough - I'm still in awe of how much progress was made in just one session! 🤩 Plus, there was the added bonus of getting unlimited Mae snuggles! 🐾💕

Piccolo wanted to drop by to let you know that his mom is super busy at the moment because there is a lot going on behind the scenes 👀 and she is under a lot of pressure with huge ongoing projects in her other job at Canine Arthritis Management. He'd like to assure you that she is trying her best to keep on top of everything and respond to messages and emails as quickly as possible, but would like to ask that you please be patient with her and allow a little bit of extra time for responses over the next couple of months. Thank you all for your understanding and continued support - we appreciate it more than we can say! ❤️

Cute photos alert featuring the lovely Kei-la (left) and Magic (right)! 📸 Magic got settled right in and used me as an armchair as he (im)patiently waited his turn while Kei-la had her bodywork session...And then Kei-la got jealous and decided to ask for more while Magic had his session! I just love them! 😂❤️

Maintaining your dog at ideal body weight is truly one of the best things you can do for them and their health.

There is clear evidence in human and veterinary medicine supporting that carrying too much body weight is dangerous for arthritis.
If your dog is overweight (greater than Body Condition Score 5 out of 9) weight reduction alone will significantly improve their condition.

Piccolo would like to remind you that it's important to have a professional check your dog regularly to make sure there are no hidden ongoing musculoskeletal issues. Dogs are very good at hiding pain and discomfort and will continue to participate in fun activities like playing agility even if they hurt. Keeping up with regular maintenance like bodywork will give you the advantage of catching things early so that they can be addressed instead of continuing unabated, worsening, and eventually causing secondary compensatory issues elsewhere in the body.

Did you know that repeatedly throwing a ball for your dog to chase and fetch can actually be harmful? There are plenty of fun, low-impact games you can play with your pup that will provide a mental and physical workout without detrimental effects on their joints and soft tissue. 🐶

Unfortunately, in recent weeks, there have been a few "little presents" left behind by clients - never a pleasant find while out walking! Please do your part by picking up after your pup - bags are freely available just inside the entry door, and any bagged waste can be left outside the door on the concrete slab - we'll take care of the rest. Thank you for your cooperation - it's much appreciated! 😊🐶

With several local counties, including Wayne and Monroe, having exceeded the CDC's threshold for "substantial" COVID-19 community spread this week, I am taking this opportunity to clarify my COVID-19 guidelines going forward.
Following current WHO and CDC guidelines, I am asking that all clients, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask for the duration of their appointment. While I understand that there is widespread "COVID fatigue" after nearly 18 months of restrictions, I am basing my decision on prioritizing my family and clients' wellbeing.
