We are a little late with some of these, but here are a few of our guests bringing treats for their doggie and human pals 😋. We want to thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness with these yummy goodies ❤. Most of the pups pose proudly beside their offerings, but Annie takes it to another level 🤣🤣 We tried to get a good shot of her sitting nicely beside the box of Timbits she and her human picked out for us (which was empty, of course) but she chose to go a different direction. All we could do was laugh, shake our heads, and post a shot here so you all could get a glimpse of one of the many hilarious personalities we have the pleasure of being around here at Bark Place. Thank you again for the treats, and thank you for allowing us to care for your special furbabies ❤!

We have several more boarding and daycare guests to introduce from January.

We’re happy to welcome these adorable friends to our boarding pack….🐾🐶🐕🐾

Meet Carter, Babs, Indy, Ellie, and Cindy Lou!

Most of this crew came in a little shy to start, but it never takes long for our guests to feel right at home. We stick to a structured schedule that helps all pets to learn the routine asap. This minimizes anxiety for first timers and really helps them get comfortable quickly. We added some playtime pictures with friends below! 🐕♥️🐕♥️

If you scroll to the end, you’ll see that we also had a birthday girl in the house. She was so excited when we served her a complimentary pup cone to celebrate 🐾 🥳🍦

Proud moment for the bark place management team right here… Walking over to the vet side to take care of some laundry, I noticed our pet care tech was using an umbrella over the dogs rather than herself. We did NOT ask her to do this, and she didn’t know we would be walking outside. Bedtime at 1097 Bark Place…🐾💤🌚 We’re expecting a mini stampede in the morning, and this will have our facility at MAX CAPACITY. 🐾🐶🐕🐶🐕 The lights are on a bit later than usual so we can get rooms ready & help our staff be as prepared as possible for a play day PACKED WITH PAWS! It’s been a while since we’ve done a bedtime video. So here we are! If you turn your volume on, we explain a few things before taking you for a quick walk around. We have a new k9 in the house. His hoomans booked him for boarding once before. They got as far as bringing him into our lobby, but they changed their mind last minute. There was some fear of how he would be with other dogs. ❤️🐾 They decided to book again, but they’ve been so nervous. Guess who has more pals than any other pup here? It’s Spring Break week, and we’re booked. That means this first timer has quite the friend count. 🐕❤️🐕❤️🐕❤️🐕 He’s so exhausted that we keep capturing videos just like these! We put two of our check ins together in the video below. 💤 🐕 If you look in the video, you’ll see a donut toy he loves to drop in his water bowl. We keep popping in to take it out/refill his water, but he’s been snoozing since we did our last round of walks. (All of the pups have, actually. Notice how quiet it is? They are all sleeping!) We still have a brand new adorable duo to introduce to you… 🐕❤️🐕 Some pups have never been away from home all night before. When that happens, we do our best to monitor them & make sure they’re not terrified the first night away. 💤🐾 We were expecting these two to have a little separation anxiety on night one, but they did absolutely amazing! We did notice after the first check-in that one of the pups was taking up all the bed space. They were so excited when we pulled another bed in for them! Here’s a combination of videos we took. Willow and many of her pals are feeling fresh for the pawliday. How about your pup!? We have room for ONE more bath appointment tomorrow! 🎄🛁🐾🛁🐾🎄 Drop off time is 8am-9am. Estimated pick up time is between 12:30pm and 1:30pm…. UNLESS you’re interested in bath plus half day play. In this scenario, dogs will play the first part of the day with our boarding guests. We’ll then have them bathed and sent home fresh/clean between 4p - 5p. ❤️🐾🛁 If you’re interested in the last appointment available, please text the word “bath” to 937-358-8728 before 10pm tonight (Monday).
