This is the biggest farm based event in Virginia and it only happens twice a year!
Saturday- Come out to
Gilmans Farm & feed at 12187 Chewning Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059
We will be all the way to the left- so make sure you come say hi!! maybe you will fall in love with your newest fuzzy best friend!!
One of our younger helpers made a "commercial" for some of the animals joining us this Saturday at the Gloucester Swap!
Enjoy and hope to see you there!!
9/16/22 a stray rabbit we took in gave birth to a large litter. 10/3/22 she suddenly passed away. We bottle fed the babies and they all went to good homes within the next few months. All except Vanny. We kept saying his forever home just hadn’t come along yet… well today, just before he turns 1 1/2 years old, he was adopted into his perfect forever home!
2023 was busy! Thank you for helping us help the animals in need!! ❤️
Thank you to everyone who helps us help the animals every day.
118 animals were helped this year.
Help Needed!
We need handful of people who enjoy social media to raise some winter feed bills funds. The more the better! We are not as out and about during the winter but the cost is higher to keep everyone healthy and warm.

<3 Thank you in advance to any kind souls who want to help! <3
To all of Peppa's Pals who donated and helped raise enough money for her surgery- Peppa said a HUGE THANK YOU!!!!
Even though she is still quite loopy from the surgery, she is so grateful for the kind people who thought an older pig was worth their hard earned money.
You know how to make a girl feel loved! 💜🐷💜
To everyone who donated and shared the fundraiser for our sweet girl Peppa- THANK YOU! She is still very drugged but is awake and very grateful for so many pig loving friends 🩷🐷🩷 please keep the donations coming- hopefully there will be no issues that require another visit- but it is a possibility! Plus we have many many mouths to feed!

Thank you all and keep the animals safe!
Setting up temporary cages, in the dark, for the 25 newest intakes. Some are obviously very pregnant. Stay tuned with more info and how you can help.
With permission from his new family- we would like to share the transformation of the sweet skin & bones boy who came to us on deaths door- but is now happy, healthy Jax!
Love happy endings!!!
This has been a hard post to make.
After 13 1/2 days of around the clock feedings, and pulling him back from death’s door several times, little Dinky the piglet crossed rainbow bridge early Thursday morning.
The hardest part about animal rescue is when you truly think they might have a chance at surviving- and suddenly and unexpectedly, they pass away.
Donations help us to be able to provide emergency care when situations like this happen. When animals have no where else to go.
We will never forget little Dinky. R.I.P.
It’s been a good day!
Three of the orphaned bottle fed baby bunnies (say that 3 times fast!) had adoption applications approved!!
That’s 5 out of the 10! Half way there!
AND the piglets finally all moved up to pan feedings!
Still eating every 4 hours or so, and now it requires a sponge bath after each feeding LOL
Enjoy some messy, noisy piggy footage
❤️🐷❤️
Late last night we got a message asking if we could help with an emergency situation. A pig had died while giving birth and now 5 babies were alone and it was getting cold.
We picked them up at 10:30pm and by midnight had them set up, warm and fed. These babies are going back to their owner when they get back to town- so these will not be available for adoption through us. We were just helping in an emergency situation.
Our fundraisers allow us to be able to have supplies on hand to help in these type of situations. Please consider donating & sharing if you are able.
That being said- enjoy the pics and videos of newborn piglets ❤️🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷❤️
