MEET DR CARL - He will be joining our team on January 3, 2024!

BIO: Dr Carl Weideman graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. He has spent 19 years working as a small animal veterinarian.

Dr Carl likes to focus on preventive care to keep animals from getting sick in the first place. He also has a passion for end-of-life care, ensuring that pets have the best quality of life possible until it is time to say goodbye.

Dr Carl and his family live in Mattawan along with their 2 dogs, 4 cats, and assorted other small critters. In his free time, he enjoys martial arts and camping with his family.

We will be opening our online calendar in mid December so you can start booking an appointment with Dr Carl in January. He will be available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

TELEMEDICINE COMING SOON
Dr Kathy will begin accepting telemedicine video calls on a regular basis beginning on Monday, November 6th. Dr Lisa and Dr Fossitt will soon be offering telemedicine dates as well.
In January, we will have telemedicine appointments available every day except Tuesday.
WHAT TYPES OF ISSUES CAN BE ADDRESSED WITH TELEMEDICINE?
1. Behavior concerns, aggression, litter box issues
2. Gastrointestinal: Vomiting and Diarrhea
3. Mobility issues
4. Dietary concerns, weight loss, nutritional advice
5. Skin issues such as rash, itchiness and redness
6. MINOR cuts and wounds
7. General wellness concerns and questions
8. Puppy and kitten wellness and behavior
You may schedule your telemedicine appointment with our front desk staff. You will receive an email link for your appointment.
After the appointment the doctor may recommend meds that you can pickup at the clinic or we can have delivered from our pharmacy to your front door. They may also recommend diagnostics which our tech staff can perform such as bloodwork or x-rays.
