We founded the Penn-Ohio Newfoundland Club in 1980, Chaired the 1990 National Specialty here in Ohio and are on the Newfoundland Club of Americas Coveted Breeders List as well as an AKC Breeder of Merit. We are a family dedicated to breeding beautiful, healthy, athletic, sweet Newfoundland dogs.

Here’s Dolly and her singlton, miracle puppy. Due on 3/27/24, no labor, we knew there was only one from the xray a week ago. It was a transcervical insemination with frozen semen so timing was exact. No labor and no puppy on 3/28/24, the danger with a single pu in a large breed is that there is nit enough hormone or movement inside to stimulate contractions. The vet recommends a c-section or we loose the puppy. 4/29/24 no contractions and no puppy, at this point I am assuming the puppy is dead and will pass eventually. But on Saturday morning 3/30/24 I hear a little squeak and a little black bundle of joy, Dolly is curled up around her little boy who is snuggled up against her 1 # 11 oz. Bravo Dolly!

Well its still winter with some days feeling like spring, so the girls are all coming in heat early. We have bread, dolly and Flash and baby will be bread this week. As soon as we confirm pregnancy, I will post pictures of the moms.
