We follow very closely with the goals of the founder of the German Shepherd, Max von Stephanitz, had in mind when he purchased the first German Shepherd in 1899 and started the SV. Herr Stephanitz taught us that the best German Shepherd was the one bred to be the "Golden Middle", this was the dog with beauty intelligence the heart to protect his herd, family. vom Haus am Lerchenweg has taken this as to our number one rule for our breeding program. We have been breeding German Shepherds since 1991 and have been fortunate enough to have produced VA dogs as well as dogs that have competed in the BSP. Our current breeding females are Lilly vom Haus am Lerchenweg and Cia von der Burcknerallee. We are excited about Cia and what she has to offer. I posted a couple days ago a huge congratulations to Klaus and Jim Messina for their amazing achievement at the Qualification Trial for the Worlds in France this past weekend.
Yesterday, in Germany, our German Shepherd world, mourns the loss of Klaus. This time, not the dog, but a human ambassador of the breed.
Ive thought about this all day, and I feel it would be remiss to remind you all… Tomorrow is not promised. Take a chance, drink the wine, dance in the rain, hug your dog and those you love, you never know, when will be your last.

This regal queen is looking for a home to live out her golden years. She is an extremely active and healthy 7 year old German Import, from the Brunnenstraẞe kennel. Quinte loves to work, she would be a super dog on a ranch or an active family that likes to hike, take out on the boat go fishing. Shes amazing in the car, out in public, she is an extremely well rounded girl.

This is our oldest here at vom Haus am Lerchenweg. Cia von der Brucknerallee. Cia is an exceptional German Shepherd, and even at 13 she is still bossing everyone around and not sharing the toys. Cia is the mother to Soffi, Biene, and Angel. grandmother to Kane and Tiana. She has been and still is a great friend to us. We enjoy her every day.
