At Urban Farms Memphis grower Dennis O'Bryan cultivates healthy soils and a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables on a 3-acre site in the heart of the city. In partnership with the Binghampton Development Corporation and the Memphis Center for Food and Faith, Urban Farms Memphis is a community development project perfect for volunteers passionate about good food and neighborhood renewal.

The property in the Binghamton neighborhood was sold last summer. Our farm operation has been discontinued at that location as of December. The hunt is on for a new home.

We are at Evergreen Farmers Market today 2-6 in spit of the rain. Lettuce, chats, turnips and greens, kale and herb - first pick of basil. In front of Evergreen Presbyterian on College across from Rhodes.

Memphis Area Association of Realtors Commercial Council - giving graciously time and creativity to add some great curb appeal to the farm shed. Thanks a million.

MAAR Commercial Council members volunteered for the fourth year in a row at the Urban Farms farm on Nov. 16, 2013. They build a cover for the storage shed porch and helped spread mulch to prepare the farm for winter.

Even though it's November, we couldn't stand to say goodbye to our basil crop just yet! We've been busy making delicious basil pesto so that you can enjoy our wonderful basil all through the winter months!
