Abandoned in an apartment, to fend for themselves. We knew in our hearts, Sally and her kitten Sammy, needed to stay together. We are so happy their new Mom and Dad felt the same way. Congratulations to Sally & Sammy and their new family! Happy life sweet kitties ❤️

Monica is one of the many kittens MHS has available. Kittens are typically in foster care until they are big enough to be adopted and not featured on petfinder until they are at least 8 weeks of age which means we have MANY MORE than are shown online!

MHS kitten application fees include first vaccines, testing for FIV/FELV, microchip, cetificate for spay/neuter and f***l testing.

Our buddy Jasper is ready to find his forever home! Jasper was found roaming and kept safe by a good Samaritan until our neighbors at animal control could get there to help. His owners never came forward to claim Jasper, and he's now with MHS and we couldn't be more thrilled!
This big guy is incredibly sweet and loves everyone who crosses his path! This is one handsome pup, Jasper gets stopped everywhere he goes and gets complimented about how handsome he is, just check out those baby blues!
Jasper is a free spirit, who loves his walks, car rides, chasing the occasional butterfly, playing with his toys, occasionally forgets his size and thinks he's a lapdog, and is just an all around goofy, sweet pup!
Jasper is very well behaved, likes other dogs, is good with kids, but due to his size, we are saying over 5 because he is still a bit of a puppy so can get a little overly excited when playing, but who can blame the guy. Jasper doesn't mind cats, but would prefer to play with them.
Jasper is UTD on his vaccinations, neutered, and micro-chipped.

Hold onto your hearts, Hannah is hard not to fall in love with!! This beautiful girl came to MHS as a transfer from a local animal control partner. Hannah is estimated to be a little over a year old and has an equal amount of boundless energy as she has love to give!
Hannah will require a home with Shepherd/Belgian Malinois, or similar breed experience. Hannah is extremely smart and loyal to her people, this girl knows all the basic commands, and then some! Hannah has a ton of energy so will require an active home that will give her a job to do to prevent boredom, and a home preferably with a fenced in yard so she can get all her energy out.
Hannah does have a tendency to jump very high when she's excited and wants to say hello, so we are seeking a home with older, breed savvy children. Hannah would prefer a home without any other animals.
Hannah is microchipped, UTD on her vaccinations, and is spayed.

Do you have a sweet tooth? Then come say hi to Candi!

Candi is an almost senior lady that was adopted out by our shelter several years ago but was returned due to a change in the owner's household. She is a little skittish at first but if you take your time with her and offer her a blanket she will sit with you. She doesn't really like to be picked up but she's fine getting into a cat carrier for vet visits (or to get her off a kitchen counter, as we all know cats love being up there!).

Candi had most of her teeth removed years ago so now she has an adorable quirk where sometimes she sticks her tongue out. Or maybe she's sassing you! It's pretty cute, nonetheless.

Meet William, he's a big tabby boy with lots to love!

William was surrendered to us by his heartbroken previous owner who originally found him outside and was feeding him. After he warmed up to her, he was brought inside where he spent the last two years getting socialized and loved up! Williams likes lady cats, loves his rabbit pate, and enjoys a scratch pad and a window to watch the world go by. He doesn't really love being picked up but he is a sweetheart that loves scratches and pets. He does like to try to escape so please watch where he is if you're opening the door to go outside - this boy's outdoor days are over!

William is on a special diet because he is a little chonky and is in early stages of kidney disease. He loves his dry food but it isn't great for him so we are transitioning him to kidney diet dry food. He can eat regular pate as long as it is low protein (under 10%) which is the rabbit pate he loves, and please make sure he has lots of water!

🎉Adoption Alert!!! 🎉
Zane (now R***r) came to us from a local ACO partner. Zane/R***r was showing signs of stress and anxiety in the kennels, and our team quickly jumped in to get him into foster care where he began to thrive. He had skin issues, no confidence & was unsure of humans.
Through incredible care with his fosters, he has done a 360 & is living his best life in his forever home!

This handsome hunk sporting his white husky muzzle quickly captured the hearts of our entire dog team and has become one of the shelter favorites overnight! Bailey is searching for his forever family to love and cuddle up with. His interests are hiking, running, long walks, playing fetch, car rides, kisses and cuddling on the couch on cold winter nights! If you are looking for that special someone Bailey is your man. Bailey is six years old, leash trained, knows basic commands, UTD on vaccines, microchip and neuter. Bailey is selective about who he chooses to have as his best doggie buddies, so a meet and greet is required. Not a big fan of cats.

Bailey is seeking a family with older children and a fenced in yard where he can run and play with them.

At 4 years young Grace has had a very rough start in life. Found dumped in a park with a harness embedded in her and two torn ACL’s, we can’t blame you Grace for not liking most people. This beautiful girl loves to love, if you are in her circle you are in!! As if she didn’t already draw the short straw in life, Grace has some neurological issues. Her brain (more specifically cerebellum) isn’t fully grown and never will be, so please excuse her goofy gallop and gait walk. That doesn’t stop Grace from being the happy go lucky free spirit she is! Don’t worry her friends at MHS along with her medical team are keeping a close eye on her and though she may look like she’s struggling, Grace is living her best life and not in any pain! It is your lucky day for stumbling upon our girl, LUCKY!

Meet our absolutely gorgeous girl, Lucky! This cute kitten was transferred to our shelter by one of our rescue partners; after being rescued from a less than ideal living situation. We believe Lucky is the biological sister to one of our other kitties, Peppermint. They do not need to be adopted together but they absolutely can be!

Lucky can definitely be shy at first but she is learning to love people! She doesn't mind being held and she can is an awesome cat, once she gets to know you. Lucky would do best with a patient owner, willing to help her come out of her shell more. But this girl has her whole life ahead of her to be an awesome cat for a family! Lucky would do best in a home with feline companionship, to show her the ropes and give her confidence.
