A man brought in this male orange tabby cat and dumped him in our Admissions lobby. He provided no information on where he was found at all. We have no clue where this lovely male unaltered cat originated from, sadly.

Update 9/6 @ 140pm: we see able to scan her and did not detect a microchip. She is slowly warming up to select staff and has been on walks outside of her kennel today. Slowly but surely, she is coming out of her shutdown state and seeing the love we want to shower her with. Thank you everyone for your support of Miss Charlotte. Please consider donating so we can keep helping babies like her at our campus. ❤️

Found dumped on our campus at 5428 Antioch Dr. overnight from 9/4 to 9/5. Our cameras caught 2 men at approximately 830pm 9/4 tying this dog to a tree on outside of our Admissions building.

She is mortified and shut down. We have been unable to scan for a microchip yet as she does not trust anyone as of now. We are trying to gain her trust and not stress her out any further before we attempt to scan her. She is wearing a black with multicolor smiley faces collar. She was tethered to the tree with a red tethering tie out. We unfortunately were unable to obtain full plate details as the men only had regard for concealing their identities and hiding.

If you know anything about this dog or the men that dumped her, please do reach out to our Admissions Team at 913-808-3347 and leave a message if we do not answer. We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all pets and it breaks our heart that she was left alone for nearly 12 hours, tied to a tree with no shelter, food, or water. Again, please reach out to our Team if you know anything about the situation.
