My heart is breaking. I love your creatures too. I went to check on some of my usual friends and found the new dog had gotten the bird cage open. Four beautiful birds had been taken. And one of them this silly, affectionate buddy, Max. Thank you for all being such a blessing and bringers of joy and love. This is the way I will remember you.

Roscoe is making his way across the rainbow bridge. He left this morning with the help of a compassionate Dr Beth from Creature Comfort who came to the house to assist. As a told a friend earlier -- when I know the end is coming for my fur babies, I sit with them and share our stories one more time. I help them remember how we met, how we got to know each other and the silly things they've done. I thank them for the gifts they have given me and for allowing me to have their trust and the chance to be their mom. I was so glad to be able to hold him as he slipped away and to see that spark leave a body that had served him well for so long. I did tell him that I really won't miss the wet kitty kisses on my sleeping face at 2:00 a.m. or the new way I had to learn to type with one hand pinned to the keyboard by his body --- but if I do feel those things again at some random time -- I'll know Roscoe is visiting.

I love my pets and I know you do too. I find that when someone is there to check on them, I feel better and so do they. I can tell such a difference when someone I know has been staying with my kids.

I offer stop by services that include feeding, p**p disposal, some TLC lovins and a quick house check to make sure it is secure and that no leaking pipes are flooding your house. I can also water plants and check the mail. If you are expecting a package delivery, just let me know and I’ll let you know when it arrives.

I take pictures or text you every day to keep you up to date and connected with your animal family members.

I also do over night stays when possible.
