MCC Urban Farmers Club! This page is in support of Mesa Community College's Urban Farmers Club. If we are unable to assist you, we may know someone who can.

The Urban Farmers Club reaches out to children and adults who are in need of a healthy alternative to their lifestyle, home life, and nutrition. Those in search of beautifying an area and/or converting areas into gardens that supply fruits and vegetables for the less fortunate. If anyone needs this type of assistance or would like to volunteer their time assisting the Club feel free to contact us

with your ideas and support. We also run a booth at the MCC's Farmers Market, selling vegetables harvested from students growing in MCC's garden. Currently we are volunteering at Capitol Elementary School on 16th avenue and Van Buren. If you know the area, a healthy alternative is much needed. We are assisting students there by teaching our plant and soil knowledge. We are doing a hands on, build a garden from the compost up. This garden can and will be used to supplement the nutrition of underprivileged students. Thank You for any ideas and support you can give!
