MAXI #A2352129 “PUPDATE” PART 1 As many of you may know, MAXI’s plans to Canada are no longer. Norman & I intervened to get MAXI assessed by @completelycanine before MAXI was set to depart. In review of his assessment the adopter declined on adopting him. MAXI needs some work, and transparency is important for a successful placement of any dog. MAXI would need an experienced adopter and time & dedication to set up MAXI to thrive in a home environment. Transparency is key, & it’s the right thing to do. MAXI was set to get a deadline but after his adoption was “no longer” Norman & I stepped in to give him the much chance he deserved. “To just be a dog”…but in order to do that he needs to learn boundaries, structure & see his person as a leader. MAXI has some unfavorable fixations that @completelycanine will be helping MAXI with. 🐕🫶🏽 SEBASTIAN #A2540628 a 4-year old male German Shepherd. This guy is so handsome and sweet! He was happy to meet every dog around us, and was very affectionate with me, and everyone who has interacted with him says the same. He does have some issues with his hind legs, he bends them too much, “froggy legs”, but that does not influence negatively with his movement, maybe he was crated for too long, who knows. Exercise and a good diet may help him, he is still young. His coat is gorgeous, he does not seem to have been neglected. He can sit on cue and has great leash manners. I seriously don’t know how he is still at the shelter, he could be a wonderful family dog, he’s great on the leash, friendly, and a super calm boy. He loves the car ride, he fell asleep the whole way to the park. He just isn’t a fan of cats or small dogs, but hey nobody is perfect. He also knows how to sit and is super patient. He loves greeting people, he’s an absolute ANGEL, his energy is low to medium and he liked going to the park to walk and see the beach. He loves to be cuddled and is a true love bug. The whole way to the park he fell asleep in the car on top of the blankets. While getting down from the car he was also a very calm boy. He’s such a sweetie let’s help him find a HOME! 🩶MARIO #А2492529Our sweet boy needs us! MARIO has had little to no exposure. He is located towards the end of the shelter where adopters barely go to, he will simply go under looked if we don’t share him. He looks a little beat up, has sadness to his eyes, underweight, you can see his entire rib cage, & he has some old scabbing to the skin. MARIO has a nice group of volunteers that really look out for him & make sure he gets out & gets love & attention. Although he’s a no frills type of dog, he shows you slight affection in his own way. He’s a sweet low key boy. MARIO is very strong when walking, he needs to learn how to walk properly, although it’s not his fault, he’s never been taught💔.
