Two of our baby White Belly Caiques are heading to their forever home this morning. This year we have been setting quite a few clients up with unrelated babies for them to breed in the future. We can also guide you along the way in the steps needed to set them up for success. All our birds are fully disease tested.

Happiest 10th birthday to my best friend I ever could have. This girl loves all the birdie babies, is always keeping a watchful eye on everything and everyone. She is the sweetest of the sweet, but I know she would do whatever it took to protect her family. We love you so much Prada Angel. ❤️

We still have some birds/pairs left from our downsize. These are quality birds who have been on high quality diet, some I handraised and paired myself. None of these birds are tame pet quality birds, some are semi tame but still might bite, so please do not think this is the same as adopting a hand raised baby. Some are proven, some are bonded and some are singles.

Please inquire for more info. They are only going to screened ethical breeders or someone that may want to just get into breeding birds.

Our sweet boy (Blue Crowned Conure) headed off to his new home in Tennessee this morning. His new mama came to pick him up. He is such a sweet boy and I enjoyed raising this little guy. 🩵

Our newest baby Squirrel Monkey, her name is Jazzy. She cannot join the other monkeys yet, as she is too small and is still being handfed.

We have been expanding our breeding program into exotic animals. In the future we will have exotics in addition to the birds. ❤️

Meet Theodore, he is a White Belly Caique we hatched last year. He is a Feather Headz permanent family member. Theodore is a professional surfer and recently got married (it was an arranged marriage that worked out well) He is hoping for lots of babies in the future.

We have only a few more baby Caique babies left without deposits. All babies are dna sexed, disease tested and fully weaned before going to their new homes.

We have several Amazon babies left for deposits. We have Double Yellow Heads, Red Lored and Lilac Crowned. These are USA bred birds and not smuggled babies like what the bird flippers are selling by the bin full. Fully disease tested, dna sexed and will be fully weaned before going to their forever homes. These babies are the sweetest!

I know every breeder out there feels similiar right now. But we are tired. Between the day one babies, feeding, cleaning, socializing, responding to clients, sending pictures/video calls, setting up transports, keeping up with our own lives, and just everything...it all adds up. We did a small downsize last year and then we again took on more pairs. With around 300+ birds/animals, we have made the decision to downsize permanently. I don't want my care/socializing of the birds to be compromised by not having the time.

I have about 45 babies right now and have had a similar amount throughout the last 5 months. It is very difficult to give them all the time necessary to have them stepping up and socialized by the time they go to their new homes. I never want to get to the point I don't enjoy what I do. The reason I began this business if from my love of animals. I have zero time for my own pets right now, let alone my own family. We even began building a new facility on acreage in hopes of moving our business and becoming more streamlined. I'm not sure what the plans are at this time, but I have come to decision keeping it smaller works best. I want to continue to offer superior care to the birds and my clients and I can't keep up at the size we have grown to.

Our business has been also moving into other exotic animals, which has always been a dream. We will stay mainly parrots but also offering other exotics in the future. Hiring employees has not been an option, as most breeders who have done so have been robbed by being setup from the inside. Unfortunately it's the reality when dealing with expensive animals. So it has just been our family doing the work.

I hate parting with pairs, they're like family. Some I handraised from a few days old. I am going through birds and reducing pairs. I will offer them to other breeders that do things like I do, or those just starting out wanting to start their own breeding setup. I will not allow them to be flipped or sold to just anyone. They are high quality birds that have been on excellent diet and well maintained. Some of the pairs I acquired over the years, some I raised and paired as babies. Some are just on the verge of reaching breeding age. List and prices will be coming in the next few days for those interested. Birds will include African birds, Cockatoos, Eclectus, large Macaws and several more species.

For clients asking for updated pics, zoom calls, info and other requests concerning your baby. Please be patient as I rarely have 5 minutes in my day. I am not ignoring you, I am just massively overwhelmed. The care of the animals comes first, and some days there is just no time left at all. I am physically and mentally worn out. I need to get back to the time when it was manageable and more personable.

Please remember these birds are not tame. They are breeder birds that you will not be able to make as pets. There are a few that are semi tamed that I marked but that doesn't meant they aren't going to bite the crap out of you. I'm getting slammed with messages thinking these are pet birds, they're definitely not.

🩷Well, I'm usually able to tell the gender of baby cockatoos by the size/shape of the beak. I told a client I was 99% sure one of these Moluccan babies was a male. Turns out, I was wrong, got dna back and it's a female, he needed a male. He is waiting for the next babies.

🩷So our last Moluccan baby is now available again. Please remember, these babies are not cheap, they are rare to find, and a Moluccan is a commitment. The other babies pictured have their deposits. Baby is fully disease tested, dna sexed and will be fully weaned before going home.

Our little Alexandrine baby is drying off from her her spa day, and is now waiting for her new family to arrive from Tennessee to pick her up. She is such a sweet baby, I will definitely miss this girl. Her sister is still available. 💚

Please be mindful of all animals when setting off fireworks tonight. Fourth of July used to be one of my very favorite holidays. Now it's spent walking between the aviarys playing music, leaving lights on, all babies will be pulled from the nest whether they're ready or not. We have had loss from fireworks scaring the birds. I love fireworks as much as anyone. Just please think of the location your setting them off. So many animals go missing on this day also. Please secure your animals indoors. Happy Birthday America! 🇺🇲

This little girl is looking for her forever perch. She has a very sweet personality and is super gentle with everyone. She will be weaned very soon.

🤣 this is the absolute 100% truth, no speaking skills whatsoever. I have been asked to do an interview about birds on YouTube before, but I had to turn it down, for this reason. However, maybe after another 20+ years of experience I could write a book. Just don't make me talk. 😆

Baby Lois likes to pretend she's a monster whenever she's around me. 😆 (She actually does this hoping to get formula, but she is fully weaned)

Lois also tried to dye her "hair" green by soaking her colored toys in water, I told her it looks like mold instead, she's not happy with how it turned out. She will be going to her new home soon, this girl is a total character. 😆
