The girls crafts from Monday and Tuesday . It’s always fun to see what they come up with for paint projects. The gourds I grew out behind the barn on the manure pile .

Big things accomplished today at camp . The girls are learning to drive the minis and little Frank got a halter on for the first time . He was wild little thing ! Had me sweating ! And Bows got a rider on her back for the first time .

Day camp schedules are as follows …full day camp ten to four July 15 to 19 $600 second session of full days July 22 to 26 . Half day camp three days $300 ten to one July 29-31 August 5-7 and August 12-14 . Lessons available by appointment.

It was little girls morning ! Ella Cookie and Char are just the cutest ! Taffy was a faithful pony and pulled them round and round in the pony cart.

This is how I introduce a new horse to my herd . For about a month I turn the new one loose in the arena when the others are locked in stalls . After seeing the new horse over and over and sharing hay many times the first turnout with them all goes pretty uneventful.

SUMMER DAY CAMPS! it’s time to set some dates for day camps. Senior camp July 15 to 19 is full. This is the five day all day camp. There will be a second camp of full days the following week that has two openings. July 22 to 26 . I will offer several three day half day camps for younger riders. July 29 to 31 as well as August 5 to 8 . Reserve your spot. $600 for full day five days. $300 for half day camps.

It’s looking like Saturdays weather won’t be the greatest. Low of 20 and a few inches of snow. I’d say lessons are canceled for tomorrow. I will be available for lessons if it warms up after school next week as well as all day Friday and next week while the kids are on vacation.
