Snuggle Buns Rabbitry

We raise show rabbits, 4-H rabbits, pet rabbits, and therapy rabbits. Jersey Woolies are wonderful, loving rabbits that love attention.

We are also starting our venture in Rhinelander Rabbits as well. We are members of the ARBA, National Jersey Wooly Club, National Rhinelander Club, and Geauga County 4-H Club. We are working have taken our rabbits into the local nursing homes and are working on getting a few of them registered as Therapy animals. We handle our babies and carry them into all kinds of public situations so that they

can go on to be therapy rabbits if desired. We have limited numbers of rabbits, so that they can get one on one interaction. You can see us at the Great Geauga County Fair. We belong to the Bunny Bunch 4-H Club and would love to talk to you about bunnies!

Thank you to all those who gave donations for the Ohio Guinea Pig Rescue and Sanctuary through Siracki Realty Ltd. They were thrilled for them as the food came just in time as they needed more! Lynette and I took the items to the Sanctuary and got a tour of the animals. They have several guinea pigs looking for homes as well as a litter of pigs (yes the Mamma is burried under hay in the photo), Chinchillas, a hamster, and goats! Of course, I could not leave without the little buddy in the photo. I am calling him Leo as he reminds me of a lion. I am hoping that he will become best pals with Ruben!

I want to personally thank all who donated to the Heart of Ohio Guinea Pig Rescue and Sanctuary. I will post pictures of all items donated tomorrow when I do the drop off of the items. My Daughter has a piggie from this rescue. The famous piggie in our posts is my piggie, Rueben. We rescued Rueben from a Reptile show as the pigs were being sold as food. While I know that reptiles need to eat too, I also know that reptile breeders would avoid feeding something that didn't look healthy. Rueben was young and beat up pretty badly. My Daughter bought him and he adopted me as his person!

Days like this are so hard when you have been breeding and loving rabbits as long as we have. We made the tough decision to say goodbye to three amazing rabbits. These were older rabbits and quality of life is upmost importance and their health was really declining. Hartman’s Iron Man, Snugglebuns Marshmallow Surprise, and Snugglebuns Hard Carry. Oh, to see you binky again. We love you so much.
