Final outdoor course for 2024 is set as we prep for 2 weeks to close out our show season! Macy puts so much thought into each course to best prep the horses and riders for each venue. She takes note of what certain course designers set and tries to mimic them (sometimes modified to our arena size). We appreciate the time she takes to design and build these courses for us!!!

And last but not least, Macy Mitchel piloted her own Dolce de Leche around his first few classes ever. Rolo has a bright future ahead of him!!

AHEC is in search of a ranch hand!! Looking for someone full time. We are a full service hunter/jumper training facility. We hold a high standard for horse care so looking for someone who it meticulous, hard working, and kind. A huge plus if you have prior experience working on a farm but no required.
Here are our requirements:
-Monday-Friday or Monday-Saturday
-8am-4pm with a 1hr paid lunch or 9am-4pm with a 30min paid lunch

Stall cleaning-~25 stalls
Feeding twice a day
Arena maintenance
Minimal farm maintenance

Job has potential to grow into more responsibilities for the right person.

Pay is good!!

We would like to congratulate our very own Macy Mitchell on her Top 6 WCHR Regional Developing Professional and Professional standings. She claimed 3rd in the Professional section and 6th in the Developing Professional section. Additionally, she held a top 10 placing in the National WCHR Developing Professional standings.

Welcome home to these two girls!! They both are exhausted and skinny but overall, healthy and ready for a little vacation post travel. Huge congratulations to Juli, Celia, and Macy on the arrival of these sweet girls. Endless gratitude for and for the endless hours of facilitating the sales, training the babies until their ship date, phone calls, and ensuring they made it home safely. As always, a pleasure to do business with! We are so excited about the future of these two!!!

AHEC is in the market for a working student!! We are looking for something VERY specific…

Jobs/Criteria:
-Doing turnouts Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. Takes about 5-6 hours… starting 8:30am
-Minimal grooming in between switching turnout groups
-POSSIBLY exercise riding ON OCCASION if it’s the right person

Compensation:
Ideally would trade for partial board and training cost on your own horse. Depending on person, could have a horse, in barn, for lease. Lessons would be included in your compensation and would be scheduled during your turnouts.

Macy had the privilege of bringing Chacco and Gatsby to Monroe for Zone 9 Hunter finals as well as the final WCHR show in the region. Both boys made their trip well worth the time in the ring as well as some “boot camp” with !

Gratify wasn’t going to let Chacco be the only winner! He took the win in the 3’3”/3’6” Green Hunters with and 84!

Although not the fastest speed round, V’ie and Macy took the win in the Open 1.10m! So much fun!!

Chacco Bluez and Macy win the 3’6”/3’9” High Performance with and 87 to also bring home the championship! Great start to the week, CA trip, and season!
