Such a great derby day!
Macy rode Chacco Bluez to the win in the Paso Park Fall Finale derby with beautiful and consistent rounds scoring a 91 and 89.5.
Macy also rode Gratify to 10th.

As Macy is underway with body clipping this winter, it was a fun comparison in piles of hair… todays winner: Reba! She even had fair competition!
1.) Zeke- 17.1h big bodied fluff ball, we call him The Moose and his winter coat is one of the reasons for that 🤣
2.) Beau- 16.2h standard built warmblood. He’s been working on his winter coat since the end of August….
3.) Reba- 9h mini…. And no, she does not have cushings 🤦‍♀️

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bode. About 10 days ago, he presented with colic signs, underwent surgery to discover 22’ of dead intestine. We decided to give him the chance to fight and did the resection. 9 days post op and he had given us some really good days that left us optimistic he could have a happy retirement on the farm but yesterday he gave us signs he was tired of fighting and was ready to cross rainbow bridge. He was laid to rest peacefully this morning with his favorite people standing by him.

Donegal became part of the Autumn Hills family many years before we moved to the Treasure Valley. He brought his owner, Scout, back into the sport during high school while she juggled her soccer career. Shortly after we moved, Scout went off to college and Bode remained as part of our team, bringing in many new clients, giving people their wings, and teaching endless lessons.

Bode, we will be forever grateful to you for everything you’ve done for us. We returned the favor by letting you go to greener pastures and be reunited with your friends in heaven. Many hearts were broken today but we live with the peace that you fought a hard fight but you are in a better place. Thank you again ❤️

Sending our love to and her family as they navigate through the grieving process as well as all those people whose lives Bode touched.

Thank you to Dr. Shane Smith, Dr. Ruth Snow and the team of techs at for the endless hours of care and expertise. We would not have made it as far as we did without you guys.

Our team had an incredible weekend final show of the season, the Treasure Valley Classic Fall Finale. We are so incredibly proud of how everyone did!!! Here are our highlights!!!

Macy and her own Luxembourg took the win in the 3’ Hunter Derby with first round score of 85.5 and a handy score of 87

Celia Brennan piloted her own Walk of Fame to victory in the 2’6” Hunt and Handy Derby. This pair also took home the championship in both the Low Adult Hunter and Equitation divisions

Macy and Walk of Fame also took the championship in the Outreach 2’6” hunters.

Ruby Twilegar aboard her own Beau Ami took the blue in the 2’9” Jr/Am Medal, 3rd in the 2’6” Hunter Derby, Championship in the Modified Children’s Equitation, and Reserve Champion in the Modified Children’s Hunter.

Macy and Beau had beautiful rounds in the 3’ Hunter Derby with scores of 81 and 82, which brought home a 4th.

Kate Shaughnessy aboard Darcie Grote’s, Zaragoza, had their 1m debut and clinched the win in their final class together, the 1m Classic.

Ava Drummond aboard Macy’s Luxembourg got to know each other taking@home the reserve championship in the Pre-Child Hunters as well as a top 8 in the 2’3” Hunter Classic, in memory of a dear horse the Idaho community got to know so well, Brighton.

Anna Pappanastos and Macy’s Ringmaster had a bittersweet weekend sharing their final show as a partnership. They bring home the reserve championship in the Low Child Hunter and Eq divisions as well as 2nd in the 2’9” Jr/Am Medal and 5th in the 2’6” Derby.

Olivia Filippini and Donegal, owned by Scout Hutchinson, took home the win in a very large .80m class as well as making their equitation debut with very respectable rounds!

Easy Street and new owner, Elsa Hoffman, got to know each other as well as taking home respectable ribbons in the .60m and a 2nd place in the Classic. They also dabbled in the Pre-Child Eq with consistent rounds!

Bella Hefner and her own Boogies Sunny Side Up made their 2’ debut, with smooth and consistent rounds!

Huge congratulations to our team and we look forward to the next show!!

Bentleys favorite pastime is helping the excavator spread the sand in the indoor! We are so excited to get this project completed and have the indoor this winter!!!

Photographing these boys is no easy feat! What a fantastic day! With less than stellar weather on Thursday, the show was postponed yesterday to today. With a relative day off yesterday and little opportunity to school them this morning, they were the best boys in tonight’s derby! Gatsby took 3rd with an 82 and 86. Lux took 6th with a 76 and 81. So proud of how far the came this summer! They have been such a pleasure to develop and I am so excited for their future!
