Portuguese Cork Oak, so fascinating. Skinned on a regimented 4-8 year schedule, these oaks are everywhere in the Portuguese countryside and provide the much needed cork for the delicious local wine industry.

We hope you are as excited as we are about what is going into the ground in the next few weeks on our farm. The Morel Initiative is in full swing and we will be presenting our second recap and update seminar at Fungi Fair on October 13 at the Polish Community Center in association with .mycological.society . This is the grand finale of our foraging season and we will have close to 25 species of fungi available for sale at our booth in addition to some of Wisconsin’s finest wild foraged accoutrements.

The freezers are loaded and we are approaching the end of Huitlacoche season. We are amazingly presold out of premium kernels for the entire next year already but have 2 freezers of regular huitlacoche kernels and processing grade huitlacoche still available to hold us until the 2025 season. We would highly advise contacting us if you want huitlacoche on your menus in 2025 to set up a preorder for remaining stock. We can hold orders upon payment and deliver as needed throughout 2025. 🖤🌽

We have a nation-wide network of premiere foragers that allows us to distribute the highest quality product at the most cost effective prices, direct from the wild to your kitchen within 48 hours.

Our home base is Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the historic harbor view district. We distribute nationwide, with a core distribution range of the upper midwest inclusive of Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago.

We are a growing business. At present we are negotiating the final details of our next expansion. We will be constructing one of the most technologically advanced and sustainable mushroom cultivation operations in the United States.

We will be expanding into some new territory and approaching a few new niche products with the utmost regard for price efficiency and unmatched quality. Stay tuned, the next adventure will surely not disappoint.
