🐾We are now offering basic grooming services! You can call or text to make a reservation for a bath, brush, nail trim or ear cleaning! Hello! I am looking to expand our dog food selection for public purchase. Are there any foods you would like for me to carry locally instead of having to run to Alliance or Canton to pick up your dogs food? Leave your selection in the comments!

I will continue to reach out to my supplier to see if anything not on my list is still available to get.

Update to add: Some of the brands I'm able to supply are Purina Pro Plan, Earthborn, NutriSource, and Eukanuba.

Thank you everyone for your support!! Just a quick update.

The kennel is filling up fast for Christmas with only a few spots left! I will not be doing pick up or drop off on Christmas day. However, I will extend hours on Sunday, Christmas Eve for those still needing to drop off or pick up.

🎄Christmas Eve times will be 7-7:30am, 2pm or 9pm.

As you may or may not know, the kennel has changed hands again due to unforeseen circumstances. I am happy to announce that Angel Murdock and her family will be taking over officially January 1st! Rest assured your pets will still be treated like family in our care. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Hello everyone,
Sorry it’s taken us so long to post on here.
Mike and I have been here for a little over a month and have enjoyed every moment at the kennel.
We’d like to thank Latecia for doing such a great job training us and making the ownership transition as easy as possible.
Angel has stayed on with us, she’s been a huge asset to us.
To everyone who has booked with us and has reservations in the future, thank you from the bottom of our hearts❤️ This is a dream come true.

New kennel owners
I’m happy to introduce Mike & Andrea Rabold, the new owners of Thunder Valley Kennels. For 10 years, they had been looking for a kennel with a solid reputation but also needed some land for their horse and some other smaller animals so no more empty pasture fields - lol! Andrea has worked as a professional dog groomer and they previously owned a dairy farm in PA. I also grew up on a dairy farm and know it brings forth a great work ethic so along with a love for animals, I know you’ll be in good hands. I will be working with them until we officially transition on Sept 25.

Many of you have already met Angel and she will continue working here as well.
Jerry and I are excited to start our next life chapter. It has been a wonderful adventure and a sincere pleasure of mine to care for your furry friends over the past 20 years. Thank you!!

Thunder Valley Kennels update:

Some of you may have heard that we are selling our beautiful farm and kennel business. We’re empty nesting and decided to downsize to a home 1.5 miles away so we’ll definitely be staying in the area.

I will now be taking reservations indefinitely in hopes of a seamless transition to any potential new owners. As always, I am blessed to be busy and recommend making reservations early whenever you have dates you need to be out of town.
