Thomas Creek Farm Our steer has been on grass pasture since he was about 8 weeks old, supplemented by grass hay and alfalfa hay during the winter and drought periods.

These last eighteen months he has led a pretty idyllic life, with excellent views, regular licks by his mo Our contented Holstein cow, Souvenir, grazes fresh grass for much of the year. We supplement her diet with alfalfa pellets, grass hay and a high-protein dairy mix. We hand milk her twice a day. We are careful to keep her pasture and barn clean. We routinely sanitize all milking equipment and

milk jars. Although we are not certified organic, we do not use any toxic fly sprays or pesticides on our farm. We strive to keep our cow healthy and happy to minimize health issues. We test for mastitis routinely.
