BELLA is a 4 year old, 9 pound Yorkie Poodle mix who came to rescue after her owner passed away. This little teddy bear is the perfect little girl to keep you company!

Bella is very laid back, and is so happy to be near her person. She is looking for a lap and someone who give her lots of kisses! She should have a home where someone can spend a lot of time with her. Bella watches the other dogs in her foster home play, but does not interact with them much. She is content to observe from a distance and would be perfectly fine as an only dog getting all the love and attention. She enjoys car rides and going on leash walks and is great on both. Bella loves her breakfast and dinner and it would be easy for those little brown eyes to get you to give her more than she needs! She does not signal that she needs to go out to potty, but hasn't had any accidents in the house. Her foster family does walk her regularly and she gets very excited to go on her walks. At night, of course, she snuggles in bed with her person!

Bella has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, has had a dental, been f***l tested, is heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.

MORE about BELLA: She will give a little whine when she wants to be up on the chair or sofa with you and has a small little bark that she only uses once in awhile. She has not been cat or kid tested. We do not think she would have any issue with cats. If there are kids in the home they should be older and used to being around small dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola FL and adopt within a 6-hour drive to Pensacola. Local applicants will be given first consideration. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments and dogs with behavioral issues are local adoption only.
