I have been so blessed over the years with being able to love and care for others horses. It has brought me close to many people, I have learned so much more than I thought I could from each of you. I cannot express how grateful I am, as well as others here on the farm, for each person we have had the pleasure working with.

I am so pleased, and saddened that this part of my life is coming to an end. We will no long be accepting boarders here on the farm. Kenny and myself will always have open hearts for animals and people in need, but we are so enthusiastic to be able to care for just our own. Again, we are so grateful for you all. If there are any questions or needs moving forward feel free to reach out!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT, If you live near a horse farm, PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE HORSES! This older horse choked on carrots that someone fed him. Older horses (this one is 30) do not always have all of their teeth, and cannot chew very well. His normal feed is soaked senior feed…soaked in water so that chewing is easier. So, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT FEED HORSES !!!!!! He is doing fine today, but this could have ended his life. He has owners that love him dearly!

This is Houdini! He is an Arabian, and he loves to show his sass. He loves supper time and always whinnies when he sees dinner coming. He was in a really bad trailer accident at one point in his life so he isn’t a fan of trailers, but does his best. He loves apples and carrots for sure!

This is Mabel! She is the sneakiest one on the farm. If she can get out of the fence she will!! She loves watermelon and pumpkin right off the vine, but she’ll eat anything. She is so silly, and loves anyone that will give her a good scratch. She loves so run and play with the big horses. She adds a little bit of fun to the farm.

This is Brewer, she’s the lighter bay wearing the blue halter! She is an ex racehorse, that absolutely loves apples! She is definitely the fastest horse on the farm when she wants to be. She is not a fan of young horses because they’re horribly irritating. She loves spending time eating all the fresh grass she possibly can. Brewer has been with us through 2 barn moves, we love and appreciate her and her human mom!

This is Strider, he’s the darker bay with the green halter. He is a mustang, he has the freezer brand to prove it! He loves to play with his friends in the field. He loves all the snacks you could possibly give him. He has learned to love and trust the people and horses around him in the last year as he has settled in to his home here! He’s super allergic to bugs, so he has to always have a full fly sheet on to keep his skin safe! He’s a neat guy!

Meet the farm residents

This is Iroquois! He is believed to be the oldest horse on the farm. His favorite snack is powdered doughnuts, and iced tea. He is loved by his mom, Shianne, and we have been so lucky to have them with us through thick and thin. He’s a goofy, dinner loving kind of boy.

Fuego! He’s 5 years old, and he lives up to the fiery ginger color with his personality! He loves his girl more then anything in the world, he would move mountains for her if she asked him to. He loves to play with his pasture mates, and loves to run. He loves supper time. We are very impressed with how far he has come with the guidance of his young rider.

This is Sprinkles, she is so stubborn! She loves all kinds of snacks, but loves her little girl more. She teaches little kiddos how to ride. She squeals when other horses get to close! She is super lazy if you let her get away with it. But she is loved regardless!

This is Tootsie! She is the sassiest horse on the farm, she has the diva mane flip to prove it. She loves all snacks. Her dad won her in a raffle. She has a beautiful eye that is half blue. She loves to run, especially with all the big horses!

Meet Big Lee! She is 21 years old. She loves her kiddos almost as much as she loves to pull a cart. Riding is a new hobby she has learned within the last few years. She is the biggest horse in the herd. She is to old to put up with anyone’s crap. If you’re in her way she will move you if you let her. She loves apples and carrots but does not like peppermint!
